It’s nothing like that cake it won’t stay stuck on the item it peels off on its own it’s not heavy duty I put it on my desktop to hold down my mouse pad it is already coming up it does not hold like duck tape dust yes it is easy to break off the role don’t have to use scissors but the adhesive is not as strong as it should be. This is more like a medical tape for medical use only.

I hate paper tape with its flimsy feel and lack of ‘stickiness’ and have been looking for something thicker that would stick well to skin and protect better than something that you can almost see through.
Trimming both our landscaping and the invasive plants in our wetlands requires both recognition and protection from the many hazards out there. Even with heavy leather gauntlets to protect your hands and forearms the tiny but sharp spines on several plants can cut through them like butter, leaving barbs stuck in your fingertips that are difficult to dig out.
The only way that I have been able to minimize these injuries (bromeliads are some of the worst) is by using band aids on my fingertips and securing them with this vinyl tape. The band aids provide some extra padding to intercept the spines and the tape holds the band aids where you put them. This combination has been very helpful and has allowed me to avoid countless injuries.
