Going Samsung from now on with SSD’s. All my games load up way faster than my WD 1TB SSD. I got my Samsung SSD 4TB and both were easy to insert into the PC. However, Samsungs brand just seems faster and has a stronger build quality then WD.
Read and write speeds are as advertised; well worth the money.

I am loving this SSD M.2. It is fast and has more than Enough Storage for all my games. It makes gaming smooth when playing multiplayer. The Price was just right for this.

This is a great hard drive that was easy to install in my laptop. Expands my ability to have multiple large games on my hard drive simultaneously. The speeds are excellent and I have had no issues over the past few months with heavy usage.

This is doing exactly what I want it to – I replaced my old Samsung 970 Evo using PCIe 3.0 lanes with this one running PCIe 4.0 lanes, and I’ve seen a marked improvement in game and level load times. It’s not a night and day difference, but going from a 4 second load time to a 2 second load time is pretty sweet and really makes your computer feel faster, even if the actual time it’s saving you is relatively small.
I already had the Samsung Magician software installed for my old SSD, so I was able to quickly use the cloning tool to copy everything over in a matter of minutes. Once I swapped the drives around in my system and made a change to the boot order in my UEFI, I was off to the races with this as my normal boot drive with zero impact to my Windows 11 install.
If you’re already using a decently fast PCIe 3.0 NVMe drive this isn’t going to blow your mind, but as far as PCIe 4.0 drives go this is a great option and the upgrade is noticeable. Highly recommended.

I recently upgraded my PC’s storage with the SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 Internal Solid State Hard Drive, and the results have been nothing short of astounding!
First and foremost, the speed of this SSD is jaw-dropping. With PCIe 4.0 support, it delivers lightning-fast read and write speeds that have significantly improved the overall performance of my system. Loading times are virtually nonexistent, and large files transfer in the blink of an eye. If you’re looking for a drive to turbocharge your gaming or professional work, this is it.
The 2TB capacity offers ample space for all my files, games, and applications. It’s perfect for content creators, gamers, or anyone who needs high-speed storage with room to spare. Installation was a breeze thanks to its M.2 form factor, and the included software makes migration painless.
The build quality is top-notch, as expected from Samsung. The drive runs cool and quiet, even under heavy workloads. Plus, Samsung’s reputation for reliability gives me peace of mind knowing my data is safe.
While it may be on the higher end of the price spectrum, the performance gains are well worth the investment. If you’re serious about speed and storage, the SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 is the SSD to get. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

If you are looking for a fast, reliable, and spacious SSD for your PC, you should definitely consider the Samsung 990 pro 2TB PCIe Gen4. X4 NVMe 2.0c – M.2 Internal SSD. This SSD is one of the best in the market, offering blazing-fast performance, high durability, and low power consumption.

After researching about M.2 NVMe SSDs I thought I would give the Samsung 980 Pro a try judging on all the great things I’ve read about this SSD. Let me tell you, I’ve made the right choice and haven’t looked back at HDD since. First of all, this thing is blazing fast. I ran two benchmarks on it and they both came back with great read and write speeds. Second of all, the games look very very crisp, clear, and haven’t had any issues with games on this thing. They run smooth as hell on it. Also, Samsung offers a 5 year warrant on this drive just like all their other ones. Samsung has your back when it comes to their drives! The Heatsink makes life easier as it keeps it from getting too hot. Make sure you install Samsung Magician when you purchase this thing. You can do things with Magician like update the drive, change the color of the LED light, run benchmarks and so on!! Buy the Samsung 990 Pro you won’t regret it!

This SSD is lightning fast, stable and reliable. This particular one is being returned because I’m an idiot, but I have the same one in a different laptop. It’s been with me for more than a year and performs immaculately. I actually swapped the original system disk with the Samsung because the later was better. (Meaning I rearranged the 2 dad’s so the Samsung was c:, then clean installed the operating system on it. No regrets!)
IMHO: value for money, reliable, very fast booting, and no issues.

Bought 2 of these for my sons & worked out so good, had to get one for myself.Really easy to install, clear instructions, really makes a difference.

As almost everyone knows, the Samsung 990 Pro is hard to beat when it comes to SSD performance. I installed it into my Acer Predator Helios 16 gaming laptop about a month ago, and so far it is working great. It doesn’t overheat, and gaming performance is excellent. I’m getting between 5000 and 6500 MB/s read and write speeds with it. I kept my OS on the laptop’s included 1TB Micron SSD and installed this one into its second M.2 slot. I’ve been installing all of my games on the 990 Pro. Load times are extremely fast, and I haven’t noticed any lag when moving from one large area in a game to another.
Installation was easy for me, although I’ve worked in IT for years and started out working on laptops and computers, so I’m pretty experienced at that kind of thing. For those that may not be as comfortable there are tons of guides on YouTube that will help you out.
