Hands down a winner. After testing one we now own 4. *Expansive home and office.
Successful at scrubbing the allergens out of the the master suite.
Successful at clearing the air in a designated cigar room.
Successful at clearing the fowl smells from our pets lavatory area.
Clean air at our office.
Quiet most of the time. It accelerates and becomes a little louder when it’s in warfare mode (usually about 10 minutes)
The automatic mode is exceptional. Plug it in, place on automatic and let it do its job…..easy and effective.

I usually don’t write a lot of reviews, but I usually do when I’m really happy or impressed with a product. So as you might imagine, I like this filter a lot and recommend it.
I got this product for a few different reasons:
– My family got COVID-19
My boyfriend was having an extremely hard time breathing, which actually prompted him to be hospitalized for a little over a week. I got this to help with the pet dander, dust, and pollen floating around.
– We own 2 dogs that shed a lot more than I thought (of course, right?)
– We have a 6 month old baby and I want the air as clean as possible for him
– We live in Western Washington and while we don’t typically have a lot of wild fires near us… we had a really rough year with that and we almost had to evacuate because there were so many nearby fires. The air was so bad and difficult to breath. Also, we usually get residual smoke from fires in Canada to the north, fires from California to the south, and fires from Eastern Washington.
– We have a fireplace that we use A LOT in the winter as it is our primary heat source to save on electricity
– Unintended reason: mold. We had a pipe leak that flooded our crawl space and that may be festering mold (not our year). Of course, we are in the middle of having everything repaired and replaced, but there is a good chance there is mold
I got this size for the main floor in my home and I got the smaller size (LEVOIT Air Purifier for Home Allergies and Pets Hair Smokers in Bedroom, H13 True HEPA Filter, 24db Filtration System Cleaner Odor Eliminators, Remove 99.97% Dust Smoke Mold Pollen, Core 300, White) for my bedroom. I’ll touch a little on what I think about the two different models.
So, what I really like about this product is:
– Well it works!
I did a test (see photos) where I had my fireplace going and left the door slightly ajar. Immediately, the colored ring around the edge turned bright red and the μg/m^3 went up like crazy in the 90’s or greater (not pictured because I went to go find my phone). It quickly and gradually started to go down and the colors around the edge started to change based on the μg/m^3. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, but I do really like the changing color aspect because it can catch your eye if you’re not expecting the air quality to be bad.
– It’s light weight
Like I said, we had COVID… so I was being extra cautious and carrying this to our bedroom every night to make sure the air was as clean as possible. I’m not a super buff individual, but I’m also not weak. But this was easy to carry. I could hold it with one arm if I really wanted to light. It is just a bit long/ big, so you need to be cautious about wacking things when you’re carrying it. I have a picture of my boston terrier in front of the filter, so you can get a better feeling on the size of the product.
– I like the wheels at the bottom for maneuverability
It’s just nice when I’m trying to move in a different place, especially when I have a baby and I have a bazillion large toys around like jumpers, toys to learn how to walk, etc.
– It’s quiet
It’s honestly not loud and I don’t really notice too much when we watch TV and such. There are different fan settings and the lowest and the middle setting are quiet and hardly noticeable. You will notice the noise for sure on the highest setting
Pretty much the only dislike is that I wish the power cord was a big longer. It is roughly 5 feet long, but I wish it was closer to 10 feet because you don’t want obstructions around the filter, so it usually is best in the middle of the room.
Quick commentary on the difference between this filter and the aforementioned smaller size:
– The smaller size doesn’t have wheels or list the particulate matter concentrations (μg/m^3). I’m unsure whether the color band changes color like the bigger model.
– The smaller size is also light weight and quiet.
– Because the smaller size is only about a foot tall, it works best on a side table or something elevated to help suck in the air. I feel like if it’s on the floor in a bedroom, there will be a lot of obstructions and I’m not sure how effective it will be.
– Overall, the smaller size is also a good choice if you’re only concerned for a bedroom or something similar. But for the extra $200, I think the bigger size is worth it for the extra perks and how much extra space it filters the air (it’s meant for a really large room or even for the house).
** I know many people have mentioned this… but just in case… You need to take the plastic off from around the product, but also you need to take the filter out from inside by opening the back and take the product off from the actual filter. I think a lot of reviews who say it is super loud did not take the plastic off from the filter that is actually inside of the product **

So, I bought this last early fall as my dog was wheezing out of nowhere, presumably due to combination of September pollen + the fallout from “chemtrails” (weather manipulation chemicals & heavy metals. Yes, it’s very real & very obvious). The air cleaner seemed to help him immediately and within a few weeks the wheezing completely stopped (thank god). We use it in the bedroom primarily snd typically only put it on at night. The worst the level has been up until this week was like maybe 12 or 15. The air cleaner gets it down to 3-5 at it’s peak. It seemed to be working good enough.
Enter the smoke from the Canada “not very wild & completely intentional due to Wildlands Project” fires. WOW!!! This thing is AMAZING!! Yesterday was bad, sky totally yellow and smell was awful. AQI (designed to normalize the negative results from aforementioned agendas) got up to like 180 I think here in Northern NJ. Well, today it’s even worse!! AQI currently reading 322! Anyway yesterday when I first turned in this unit, for the first time it had a red ring (coded circular LED light around controls) with a reading of 65!! The Levoit has the level now in single digits, getting as low as 5 at the peak. Just incredible!!!
I live in small 1BR apartment so for me it’s perfect and can take care of the whole place in 20 minutes. I would recommend you get 1 for every level of your home, and trust me, for $300 or now I see $250 with rebate, don’t think twice! It’s worth every penny. Most air cleaners are way too small to clean more than a small bedroom, but for situations like this with these fires, you’re investing in your health and the health of your family. It’s really bad here and I’m SO GLAD I have this on hand to give us peace of mind!
BUY IT!!

It works just like our other air purifier, the LV-H133, with the same kind of filtration system. We got the LV-H134 so that we could upgrade to a higher-capacity air purifier for a larger size room (from an ideal room size of 442 sq.ft. for the LV-H133 to 710 sq.ft. for the LV-H134). Despite being larger than the LV-H133, it is rated just about the same for noise. Also, because it’s larger, it can be kept on the lowest fan speed and still keep up for general air quality, turning it up for specific things like cooking odors, wildfire smoke, or other incidents. There’s also a PM 2.5 readout on the LV-H134, for those who like some numbers to go with the colour that shows the air quality. It seems accurate so far, with PM 2.5 numbers that satisfy the BC air quality guidelines when the dial is blue. Awesome machine.

It can be super quiet or sound like a jet fan. But when it’s on full blast it sure cleans the air quickly. The auto detect feature for the air quality is super handy with it turning on to clean the air more after cooking.
I Love Mail-Order –
Purchased to see if it would help with baby’s eczema, but didn’t do anything for it or air quality because it turns out our air quality wasn’t bad to begin with. We leave it on auto mode & it kicks up when there’s a lot of smoke from cooking or when BBQ smoke from outside comes in & when I’m dusting around. Not sure if this was necessary, but we kept it anyway. Gets rid of the smoke/smoke smell really quickly so good for BBQ season & if you’re a terrible cook who keeps burning food 🙂

Brilliant product. Very quiet even on the highest fan setting with incredible air flow. Simple set up and operation. Above all the distributor is incredible. Best customer service I’ve ever had. The first unit delivered was damaged enroute, not their fault, and the follow up was amazing. They keep me up to date with the return, the reimbursement of my return shipping costs, when the damaged unit was received by them. They then rush shipped the replacement unit and tracked it for me letting me know when it would arrive. Can’t praise The Magma Group more highly!

This is my first Amazon product review, although I have used other people’s reviews many times in buying other products. I decided to give back a bit, for whatever it is worth to someone thinking of a similar purchase. First, I was surprised at the size of this unit. It is taller than I’d imagined, and the overall dimensions are substantial. It might be worth a check, if you are thinking of a small room. The manufacturer thoughtfully put wheels on it, so it is easily moved about. Setup was minimal and quick. I was pleasantly surprised at the noise level of the highest setting. I was afraid it might be louder. The middle speed setting is literally whisper-quiet. I turned it on high to condition the rooms as soon as possible. Letting the air blow directly on my face for a bit, the air seemed sweet-smelling. After about an hour of running, my wife smiled at me and said, “I think we are both going to benefit from this filter.” It does seem that the air is cleaner. The indicators for particulates and air quality are giving their indications, and beyond that, I just have to trust that the large hepa filter is removing what it is designed to do, and since the air is being moved at a reasonable rate through the filter, that the results will be beneficial. I bought this model because of it’s ability to move air, and because it is plug and play. No need to dowload apps to control the system. My only concern now, like all consumers, is that the system give a reasonable number of years of service.

Does what it was bought for. Quiet and efficient. Stylish to boot! We bought a smaller Levoit for another room and it is equally quiet.
Nice that you turn off the control display in both as well.
