The Frog –
We got this for the same reason many people do: to leave our big oven off in the summer and/or don’t really need a big oven that often. Mission accomplished!
The other, really big reason we got this one, is no PFAs or nonstick coatings. That is very important for bird owners and people with breathing issues. The only nonstick anything involved with Nuwave products associated with this oven is if you get the grill – which is an optional buy (obviously we did not want it). A bonus part of the nonstick issue is that I contacted the company directly and they were easy to contact and very quick to provide the assurance we needed regarding the nonstick aspect.
So, the Pros: Safe for birds!!!, Also: heats fast, cools down fast, is spacious – we can fit our entire Lodge Shallow Round Griddle with handle no problem, allows you to set different temps for upper and lower heat elements, has a great light, pretty easy to clean, and lets you cook on two racks at the same time. Plus it comes with a good air fry basket (no Teflon/PFA) and air fries very well. A big Pro is that it heats continuously and adjust power consumption as needed to maintain the temp – you can see it on a power meter. Much better cooking vs. cycling on and off or going between 1500w and 800w all the time.
There’s some unnecessary things like a cookbook with corresponding presets that you can use. We have no need but some people might like it. They are totally optional!
We just use the On/Off and then “Menu” to select the cooking method.,, i.e. bake, roast, etc. and then set the temp and the time as needed.
The Cons, which honestly are small and not at all reasons not to buy: the racks could be sturdier – can’t hold a pizza steel (1/4″) without bending, and- you have to be extra careful pulling the racks out to retrieve food. They can tip if you are not careful. The racks are the reason I took off a star.
I guess another nitpicky thing would be to let you know when it is fully preheated to temp. OTOH I use an oven thermometer anyway so not a big deal.
The pros by far outweigh the cons, and we are really happy we bought this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven.
It has exceeded expectations and as of this writing they were doubling the warranty to two years when you register your purchase. How nice is that?

Idid a lot of research and searching for a new toaster/convection/air fryer combo, there were a lot of very helpful reviews on the Breville but after consideration I decided to purchase the NuWave and I an so pleased. Great buttons which are so intuitive and for me that’s a plus. When registering the product customer service immediately responded offering any assistance with questions abd gave me an additions; year’s warranty. It comes with great directions, quick and detailed and a very nice little cookbook. I was hoping that the toast would toast on oth sides, but it really doesn’t but it’s not the e d of the world. It’s a great machine and worth the extra bucks compared to the smaller cheaper ones. This saves me from having to turn on my stove oven. I have had it almost two weeks and having fun using it I am so pleased with this not so little oven. It does everything – toast, bake, roast, grill, dehydrate, defrost and does it all perfectly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this oven. It leaves the food juicy and flavorful. It doesn’t heat the kitchen up like my range does. What’s more if I forget it’s cooking I don’t have to check to see if the food is over cooked or burnt. I was surprised to see it on Amazon but that gave me a better price. There’s no noise that I noticed and the he finish is stainless steel which means it will be pretty tough but looks nice on the cabinet.

It takes some reading and some getting used to but once you start cooking you will be pleased. The good news is, it has multiple functions. The bad news is, it has so many functions it will make your head spin just trying to learn how to use it. The best thing to do is start with one function, get the hang of it, and then try another. Otherwise, you will be so overwhelmed you won’t remember how to turn it on. It comes with a starter cookbook which is a great way to learn how to use it. It also comes with a quick guide and a more comprehensive booklet for those who want to know every detail. It truly is easy to clean. I was amazed at how easy it is to clean the griddle. The griddle makes amazing grilled sandwiches, by the way. And French fries cooked in the air fryer are magnificent! One of the reasons I chose this oven is because the oven door opens down, instead of up, like some do. I don’t have to worry about the door hitting my cabinets above when it is opened. Overall, a great oven and the best alternative to using a standard oven.

Purchased as a replacement and am happy with unit. Have used the air fry function twice now and the toast function and am impressed with how food turned out. The oven is well made and comes with a nice mesh stainless fry tray. The controls are sleek and easy to read. The selector knob is large and easy to use to select you cooking mode. Plenty of cooking options as well. Comes with a nice cookbook and easy to follow documentation. The unit looks great and sits nicely in the corner of my countertop. I will definitely use this unit more than my home oven. Consumes way less power, heats fast and doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen either. Very happy so far with this oven.

I am extremely happy with my NuWave oven/air fryer combo! I have to admit, it took some getting used to with all the things it does but once I figured it out, it was a snap! Have only had it a few days but have used it twice and love how it works, how quiet it is and the features are awesome!
If you are looking for this type of product, I HIGHLY recommend trying the NuWave! You won’t be sorry.
