This was a step down from the Jack Lelanne Juicer – but it is a VERY GOOD alternative for the budget. The noise level is loud – medium loud – and get get annoying after awhile. I like that the blade and the blade bowl are one piece – and so easy to clean with the brush that is included. However, when you put the blade/bowl one piece into the unit – it doesn’t just drop right in. You have to fidget with it a bit to get it to line up and sit properly. Not a big deal – but over time could be an annoyance. Overall – it does the job – the juice is great! I love the mini-pitcher that is included – it helps reduce any foam when you pour into your glass. So yes overall a very good choice!

I am having so much fun with this juicer! My first batch was an ABC juice (apples, beets and carrots). It was very messy and took quite a while to make, I had beet juice drops all over! This was to be expected…I should have started with a less messy food other than beets. Now that I know what to expect, I’ve refined my process and from start to finish (washing, peeling, cleanup), I can produce a batch of ABC juice in 30 minutes! I’m even making immunity booster shots for my son and he loves them! If you’re wondering why I mentioned peeling, I don’t include citrus rinds. I also peel carrots, ginger etc ONLY if I’m using the fibre in a muffin or loaf recipe. Next to zero waste and SOOO tasty! If you’re going to include rinds and peels, make sure you thoroughly wash the produce. This is a powerful juicer for a reasonable price. Highly recommended! :))

I bought this strictly for juicing celery and it’s my first extractor. I was concerned about the negative comments regarding it’s “moving all around the counter.” When I first used it, this thing purred like a kitten and got the job done. After about 3 uses, and midway through my celery run, I noticed the celery had a hard time going down and had to be persuaded by heavy pressure on the plunger Then it started the notorious “dancing” around the counter. I discovered the reason why and the solution. The strainer has small micro blades. When they become clogged they stop cutting. When they stop cutting and more pressure is applied, the strainer is no longer seated properly on the base, so it is off kilter and commences wobbling. What I did was I looked down the chute, I saw the clogged blades, unplugged it, took out the strainer rinsed it off and properly seated it on the base. Problem solved. Works like new…again. So don’t apply undue pressure, don’t force it and if you’re cutting really coarse items, check the blades periodically and clean them as necessary. It now works perfectly fine and fast.

Purchased this juicer as an upgrade to a very old juicer. This Hamilton Beach juicer is a nice upgrade. Its very powerful and juices hard vegies like beets really easily. The two speeds are nice so you can slow it down for leafy vegetables and soft fruits. The quantity of juice is very good and the amount of pulp/froth that comes over to the pitcher is pretty small. The pitcher does a nice job of separating out the froth when you pour it into a glass. Its pretty good about not making much of mess while juicing. There is minor spill over from the spout which is nice. Clean up is very easy as all the parts come out easily and rinse out in the sink. The extra brush for cutting blade/screen works great and keeps your fingers away from the blades and it really does a good job cleaning the screen/blades. I only juice 1 cup per morning so I am not making a large batch so I had no issues with the juicer shutting off. I bought this from Amazon resale and it basically was brand new.

This juicer is the first one I have ever own. It’s great for hard veggies and soft veggies. I like the juice quality. It doesn’t strain entirely that’s why 4 stars but still very very good. My go-to juicing machine for morning. The best part is 1. Low noise 2. Two speed options for hard and soft fruits 3. Easy cleaning and less waste. The fruit pulp in the waste feels dry which is what I was expecting.

I juice limes and lemons and have been doing this for a few years. I had an old Black and Decker juicer that worked for a long time but wanted a larger newer juicer so I bought a Mueller on Amazon. Long story short it would not grind up the Rinds all the way and big chunks were allowed to get through… and at one point went whipping through and broke the plastic top! Customer service was good and they sent me a new top. The truth is that the top has a design defect. The last batch of Lemons and limes I grinded up yielded hardly any pulp at all and I had had it :-(….…frustrating owning this piece of garbage and using my old black and Decker to help grind up pulp! I had this HamBeach juicer in my cart for a long time and reached the end of my rope with the Mueller… and ordered it.
I can’t even hardly tell you…this juicer exceeded my expectations more than I could have imagined.
It ground up the entire lemons and limes giving me the fine powdery pulp for my Juice. I honestly feel so blessed to have this machine because it does such a fine job and is the easiest juicer to clean……AMAZING. Needleless to say I am wrapping up the Mueller and giving it away to the Good Will !! After suffering the use of it for a year and a half or so………….It hurts a little bit because I paid a hundred and some odd,,ish for it and cant return it now of course…..not to mention suction cups on the bottom forcing me to rip it off the counter after each use 🙁 This HamBeach juicer is unbelievably THE BEST….no need to shop any further…just buy this one. There just isn’t anything I could think of that could make this juicer better than it is. Life is great now and I am absolutely delighted! Drinking my lemon and Lime juice that is FULL of the pulp and Rind……that incidentally is very good for you !!
