This is an attempt from Crock-pot to be the ninja multi cooker. It is a lovely two sided crock pot that will make amazing meals and sides at the same time. However, note that just like when using the Ninja to bake, you will need to place a rack underneath the dish you are wanting to bake in.
I would advise them to offer a separate insert to this crock pot so you can use it for larger portions too. But overall, it is a very nice crock pot for the crock pot feature. I don’t make milks, so I have not attempted that option.

When I saw this two crock pot combination, I was impressed. It is not something everyone needs, but for those of us who cook a lot, for a lot of people, it is extremely handy. I had been looking for a new slow cooker, and this one caught my eye because I thought it would solve a couple of problem for me, and it did. The cost was low, and it is worth every penny. Think of it as two slow cookers, because that is basically what it is. Two, with separate controls, built into one machine. Each is quite large, 3.7 qt., almost one gallon, but when included in the same base unit takes up less room that two separate cookers. Each one can be used independently. The controls are easy and intuitive. It is easy to remove and clean the pots. There are a lot of cooking options that I am learning, but you can fry, slow cook, steam, you name it. I often make food on the range that I would prefer to toss in a crock pot and be able to walk away from, and having two available, makes that decision easier. Rice, pot roast, soups, stews, all things I can make in more than one appliance in more than one place, get consolidated into the two pots of this unit. I really like it. And I recommend it without hesitation.

First of all, this Crock-Pot MultiMeal Multicooker and Crock Pot is beautiful. I love the oat milk color and it looks so updated and modern compared to my old slow cooker. The two separate sides are very roomy and there is an included rack for steaming and baking. My old slow cooker pot was ceramic and a real pain to clean. This cooker is non stick…a real game changer that makes me want to use it more often.
You can set each side for different times so that a full meal can be completed at the same time. I especially like that is has a sear function which made cooking many things in a traditional slow cooker much more difficult due to having to dirty up a pan for searing. The sear function works great! I seared a 4 pound pork shoulder which fit with a lot of room to spare after cutting it into several pieces and then switched to the slow cooker function and it came out perfect. In the other half I cooked a few ears of corn. What could be easier??
I have not tried the bake function yet, but will get around to it…in the meantime too busy cooking full meals. The cord could be a little longer and I did not have a detailed recipe/instruction book with mine. But there is a leaflet with basic instructions and you can find lots more on the website. I highly recommend this if you are a fan of slow cookers. Everything you could want in one appliance!!

First of all, if you just want to make basic slow-cooker style meals in this, it can do that just fine. The pot separation feature is possibly useful on some occasions, but there are some flaws with the way it’s implemented. First of all, the two halves are literally touching, and they’re metal. It doesn’t really matter what temperate you set does it? The fact you can set separate cooking timers is nice, but again, the food will be right next to the other heating element.
However, I think in many cases people would want to just make one meal, so it would have been nice to include a separate one pot as well to allow for that flexibility? It doesn’t though, you are stuck with this two pot design.
It’s also claiming that it has functions that are not very useful. Like a baking function, the heating is way too uneven to bake things at any level so I’m not sure why this is supposed to be a thing. I also noticed that the power cord is a bit too short, which limits your ability to position it, and it’s kind of a big boy.
The controls are a little clumsy, but like anything you can definitely get used to them. The build quality overall is pretty decent and it’s a name brand appliance and I don’t really see quality issues in that sense. It’s just a little bit confusing in terms of overall design decisions. But it does work and you can make great food in it, but make sure you really need the duel pot concept.

You know, the variety of small appliances for cooking has expanded amazingly! This MultiMeal Crockpot finishes off all my kitchen needs! You can set each side for a different temperature or function. You can arrange off and on times so that each dish will finish at the same time for your meal.
The cooking containers are non-stick, which is a huge improvement over the old heavy ceramic containers – I used to soak those things for days to get them clean!!
It takes up a bit of room on the counter, but I needed the slow cooking option for fruit butters and other recipes that need to dry up and thicken a bit. You just can’t do that with a pressure cooker!
