The outside of the kettle does get hotter than expected, but handle is fine. No other complaints and was nice to come as a matching set with a toaster.

I like how this electric kettle looks. It doesn’t seem particularly high quality. The switch to turn it on feels quite flimsy and cheap. It works fine, though. Heats up quickly.

This Longdeem electric kettle seems fine. It has a place under the base to wind up any extra length of the power cord you don’t need to use, handy if your kettle is on a counter near an electric outlet. It heats very fast especially when, as I usually am, making only one 15oz mug of coffee. A full pot heats quickly, too.
The power button is very soft-touch and quiet which may suggest that it won’t break anytime soon, something that seems to be a common problem on other kettles. The lid opens nearly completely so you can see inside easily and can reach inside if you need to for cleaning.
The only design quibble I have is with the placement of the water-level window behind the handle. My old eyes have a hard time seeing what the level is while I’m holding the kettle under the cold water faucet. I’ve learned to eyeball the right fill point by looking into the pot.
Seems like a great product, especially for the price.

The company followed up with me and sent me a replacement hot water kettle. They always were in great communications with me and were diligent about my happiness, including lightning fast replacement time. I am super thrilled and hope to do business with them again in the near future.
This water kettle they sent me is really great. When you grab the handle and pick it up you know it’s not junk. The water gets hot very fast and remains hot and warm for sometime. I couldn’t be happier.

I spent hours on boring days looking at all the tea pots and reading reviews. I came across this tea pot and so I really starting to compare the different other tea pots that were in my price range. I really liked how much this tea pot opened up. I obviously liked that the handle wouldn’t get hot. Boy wouldn’t that hurt. 1500watts and a great water capacity. So I received the pot and was excited to try it. I cleaned it out and started making a cup of tea. I picked up the pot and it worked as it should. Then I did the touch test. The pot was very hot to the touch. My heart sank. That right there is a deal breaker. All the kettles I looked at had pots that you can’t burn your hand when you touch the pot. That’s it. That’s the only thing that has made my decision to send it back. Other then that I really liked it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
