What an expensive hunk of junk. Made cheaply, loud, and doesn’t work. Cylinder doesn’t cool down. Tried everything.
The instructions are difficult to read, as they HAD to have been transcribed by someone who barely understands English. Some sentences were impossible to understand. The operation process is not clear. There are only 2 videos online about operating this machine, both from the same guy, and neither are helpful.
Zero stars. Avoid at all costs

Stopped working after a few uses. LCD screen would turn on and off and now it doesn’t even turn on. Reached out to the seller for help as well as Amazon customer service. Problem was not resolved and did not receive a full refund.

This is the first ice cream machine we have had. Bought it for our business. Used it 1 night for a birthday party and it was a big hit. Only complaint is that it can’t do more than 3 cones in a row without having to wait a few minutes to refreeze. Not sure if that is normal in an ice cream machine. It makes sense that it has to refreeze the mix. Buying a 2nd one 🙂

We have served almost 800 servings out of it and it is doing pretty well. We are using mostly the Dole Soft Serve and the Frostline (Vanilla/Chocolate). Cleaning is pretty easy, compared to home machines.
My biggest issue with the machine is the power. We have had a nightmare keeping the thing from tripping breakers. We installed a new GFI and breakers, ran dedicated lines, and it still trips the power at least 5 times before it gets going. Once it is going, it runs excellent.
Best part of it is seeing everyones face light up at work when they come get the ice cream.
Like others, I wish for more instructions.

I have had this machine over a year. Our family just loves it. We make ice cream a couple times a month. It is a lil loud, but if you go to an ice cream parlor you can hear theirs running as well. That’s normal. The only issue I have is that when I first got it I constantly kept making ice cream and on the fourth day I would empty and make more. Yes I kept the ice cream in the machine. On the fourth day it does taste a lil funny. To me anyway, my kids seem to disagree lol anyway, I did notice an increase in my electric bill. So now like I said I’ll just make a batch or two a month until summer gets here!!

This ice cream machine works great! The instructions are very minimal, but we learned about how to use it from Curt Smith on YouTube. Watch both his videos on assembly and using. The gasket on our first machine broke and Amazon replaced the whole machine because it happened in the 30 day after purchase time frame. Amazon was great! A few things we learned: don’t use thick products like heavy cream. It had butter pieces in it. It works great with just milk, a whole gallon and added sugar and flavor. We also used almond milk another time to make dairy free soft serve. We have found that a hardness level of 4 works well. To make the ice cream look like Dairy Queen as in the pic, you can remove the star tip. Great hit at parties! We will be purchasing an insurance plan from Asurion in case anything goes wrong because the company does not seem to replace parts or offer warranty.

Not sure if the issues others are having… we got it Thursday and it works perfectly! Keep in mind it does come in a wood crate and it’s very heavy so be prepared but we used Frostline and already gave out cones for the eclipse!

machine is worthless for newbys making ice cream…no instructions on how to use machine to make ice cream .when I googled you tube video only one guy shows how to put it together but nothing about actually making ice cream. mine says belt slipping every time I try to use it….scary
