The cook surface is quite solid right down the middle which makes barbecuing difficult as sauce pools there. Otherwise it’s an excellent barbeque but I would like a different rack if I had the choice.

This is a replacement for the first one I ordered which lasted many years.
We BBQ once a week, 52 weeks a year and the Cuisinart is outside and covered. This is the best grill we’ve ever owned, cooks evenly and burgers come out excellent. Small, portable, sturdily made and looks nice. I use Coleman 1 pound (dark green, short, fat) propane canisters which last several months.
Easy to clean, has a fat/grease trap that is easiy removed for cleaning. Nice big handle and has a latch for locking.
Only downside, and maybe it’s me, but as the unit gets older the spark lighter, even though it produces a spark, doesn’t start the gas flame so I had to use regular matches or one of those electric matches to get the fire going.
Get a cover for it and it’ll last longer.

I needed a small portable grill for my back porch and the ability to take something camping and this grill is fantastic. It’s easy to put together. It’s lightweight and compact. And it is actually pretty quality as far as heating up and cooking outcomes. I cook steaks,
baked potatos, and grilled zucchini on the ceramic grill surface and everything turned out fantastic. I highly recommend this grill if you’re looking for something with these qualities you really can’t beat it.
I do wish if that Cuisinart would have put a thermometer to give a readout of internal temperature that is the only thing this little grill is lacking with regard to actual cooking features.
My only wish is that Cuisinart made a grill cover to fit this size or a carry case. I understand that the style is supposed to be carried without a case, but I prefer to have a case to carry it in with all the grill tools. If Cuisinart made that, I would have given this six stars.

It would have gotten 5 stars, the reason it didn’t was because of the grill, it was more like a hot plate. I wish they gave me an actual grill, instead I bought a new grill for it.
Other then that the BBQ itself works great!! Cooks well and easy to use and clean.
It’s also light, compact and great for travelling. I used it a lot this summer and it’s still grilling!!

It’s perfect for our small balcony I bought the adaptor hose to use 20# propane bottles but have yet to use the adaptor, as the grill is very efficient and the small 1# containers last for quite a while. The grill is VERY hot so it takes some experimentation to find the right settings to cook with. Cleanup is easy and straightforward and the enameled steel grill is super easy to clean. The surface size of the grill is fairly small so choose your accessories carefully. Having said that, the grill is large enough to cook three or four steaks simultaneously. Love the portability!

This grill came mostly assembled. I just used it for the first time. It lit easily and grilled well. The temperature is adjustable and it takes up little space on my patio.

Great for hotdogs, hamburgers. Easy to carry with you. It is not good for foods like 6 big steaks or many kabobs. Heat distribution to edges, sides, front and back very different from what’s occurring in the middle. We tried to cook 8 kabobs but had to go to 4 at a time due to edges not getting done while center done. It cleans up very quickly and no real assembly. Would recommend attaching a temp gauge to lid also recommend meat thermometer. This is best for no more than 4 people unless cooking dogs or brats.

I will say I was excited to receive this little grill. Just the right size to grill for two on a small patio or balcony. The first time I used it everything worked perfect. However the second time I went to use it the electric ignitor didn’t work and I had to use a match to light the burner. After looking at the ignitor I noticed the burner was crooked and the little ignitor was off center of the hole and pinching the little cable running from the button to the ceramic piece and cable fell out (see attached photos). I thought well it I don’t grill out but a couple times a week I can live with lighting it with a match. Then after about two weeks and using it few more times I noticed the gas insert where you screw in the little butane canister connects to the grill the insert gave way and doesn’t hold the canister anymore (see attached photos). So now it is broken and can’t use it. I cooked a total of 5 times with this thing. I live overseas and use a DPO address and not sure if I want to hassle with shipping it back but very disappointed in this grill. I would by one here but the grills (especially gas ones) the price almost three times what this one cost. 🙁

I have a small space so this bbq has worked perfectly. I use it at home and camping. The features I love are, 1) the attached lid is convenient when opening/closing as opposed to a detached lid, where you have to find a place to set it down when you are flipping the meat and 2) the carrying handle is so convenient. I love it!
