I had the same issue I read in the reviews, where the water wouldn’t spray from day 1. I could hear the motor running, but nothing was coming out. I hooked it up to the garden hose and that seems to have blasted out whatever debris was clogging the line. Since then, it has been perfect.

The box was so beat up it was obvious it has been returned before. Pump wouldn’t work. Called the customer service line and all they would suggest is returning the whole thing. That was easy enough, but bummed it didn’t work out.

My grandson plays little League baseball. Here it can get over 90 degrees. Even days in the low 80s can be brutal. There was a problem with the misting unit at first but an adjustment fixed that. We added refreezable ice packs to the water. The kids are now in heaven. May have the get a second one for the bleachers. A grandparents job is never done.

If you take the time to prime the pump (hook a hose to the fan and run just the fan without running the mister pump for 3-5 minutes) it works perfectly! Bought two and used them in the dugout for my travel softball team playing in 96 degree heat. Also used them under a tent between games. Add ice, freezer packs, or frozen bottles of water to the bucket to help bring the temperature down even more! The oscillating feature is fantastic! Easy to assemble, quick to pack up. My only dislike is that the plastic tubing has a slight kink in it due to how it’s packed, but it didn’t impact the units performance.
