The heater is perfect for our patio at the coast. Easy to assemble, very warm, and wb nice to use on cool evenings. Wheels were damaged when it arrived, but they replaced them quickly with no issues.

I’m having a difficult time trying to install the propane hose through the hole in the tube. There’s no instructions on how to accomplish this. They seem to have forgotten the most important part of this assembly. Everything else went together well but this is extremely difficult.

Recu avec une roue brisé, j’ai contacté le service à la clientèle de cuisinart, au début ils ne savaient même pas qu’il fabriquait ce produit, j’ai du leur envoyer un lien montrant qu’il est sur leur propre site web, et le numéro de la pièce défectueuse….Je leur avait pourtant envoyer une photo, et du chauffe terrasse, et de la pièce défectueuse, il m’ont dit de retourné le tout à amazon.
Je leurs ai expliqué que sa m’avait pris 3 heures à le monter, et que je préfèrerais grandement qu’ils se contente de m’envoyer la pièce défectueuse, plutôt que de tout redémonté et essayer de refaire rentrer le tout dans la boite….et je n’ai plus jamais eu de communication de leurs part. J’ai donc été voir un soudeur locale pour faire réparer la pièce en question. De plus la coupole du chauffe terrasse ainsi que les boulons sont devenu tout rouiller après seulement une seul utilisation, sans parler de la consommation de carburant qui me semble très très importante comparativement a mon ancien chauffe terrasse….Je parle d’une bonbonne de 20 lbs qui ne me dure que 5 a 6 jours avec une utilisation d’environ 3 heures par jour. Si le service après vente est important pour vous, évitez Cuisinart.

This took me and my son about 3 hours to put together. Lots of pieces, the base has sand in it to hold it and that was fantastic. The door that holds the propane isn’t my favorite. Putting the hose through the elbow was extremely challenging and took a long time. Has to use a metal hanger to get it though.
Overall the product is fantastic and works great!

The burner Air exchange clogged up after one month during a particularly dusty time of the year. Started burning orange flame and causing black smoke to come from it. I did exchange it for a new one that has been working so far, but I’m keeping it completely covered when not in use. On another note returning the other one has been a complete nightmare. After four calls to the return shipping companies and five calls to Amazon it is still sitting on my front porch six weeks later. Amazon has even had the audacity to charge me for a second unit after the replacement came in. Buyer beware when you pick up large items from Amazon , if you want to try to return them it’s impossible

I have a few things to say about the heater.
Positives:
First, it works great. Fired up on the first try.
Secondly, it looks great and the fold down feature is what sold us. We have a lot of wind and lost a previous patio heater to the wind. The base is weighted (100 lbs). The heater and a full tank is pushing. 150 lbs.
Thirdly, the instruction manual was very good.
Fourthly, the offset of the heating portion is really nice as you ca position the tank portion out the way and still have the heater directly overhead for maximum comfort.
Negatives:
It’s a job to assemble. Hundreds of screw, nuts, bolts, washer and heater parts! The manual is very good but you will need 2 to 3 hours to put it together. I am a lifelong do-it-yourselfer and I spent two plus hours putting it together.
The real negative for me is not that bad. It appeared to me from the photos and description that you could adjust the height of heater element up or down. You cannot. It is either up for use or down for storage and wind resistance.
All in all we are satisfied. It seems to be really well made.
My four star rating should be 4.5 but you can’t do that.

I just spent 4 hours putting this together, if i was not mechanically inclined and did not posses some basic common sense, it would have been impossible to put it together.
i just finished the set up and have not had a chance to see it’s functionallity, but it did turn on easy and swivell head makes it more useful ( i think ) it remains to be seen
