We saw this item at a showroom in Tampa. To order from the furniture store would have been a few weeks’ wait, plus $599 for delivery (we’re about 80 miles north). Looked it up on Amazon and found it for the same price, same delivery time, but free shipping.
We needed this to go under our wall-mounted TV, and to match our MC modern furniture, and it’s perfect. Holds the sound system woofer, cable modem, WiFi router, Smartthings hub, and UPS so that everything is hidden, has plenty of ventilation, and no visible cables or plugs.
Assembly took about an hour, but I was in no hurry and wanted to avoid any possibility of scratching the finish. Pay attention when putting the legs on. They only line up with the mounting screw holes in one direction, but it’s possible to get a couple of screws in wrong before you notice.
The piece is VERY heavy, but the wheels on the legs make moving it very simple and easy.

holds all of my av equipment and is transparent for sound and ir remotes. but, the main (middle) storage area is not as deep as needed to hold a std av receiver. therefore i had to remove the volume knob from my integra receiver :(. other than that excellent build and quality.

We received it on time and liked the design But received the defected piece- the back panel is broken and because it is inbuilt so can’t be replaced with the new part. After having a couple of calls with their customer service providers, they asked us to repack this bulky furniture and ship it at our own cost. That might coats us more than $300. You can imagine the kind of customer service they are providing after spending $2,529 on their product which is priced way higher than it’s quality. There’s no way I am going to keep this low quality, broken furniture after paying such a high price.
I would have considered a new product replacement if they had offered me free shipping or some help in returning this defected piece but they are not ready to help so I am not ready to keep this low-quality furniture and will take my full refund back.
Would not recommend it to anyone as their customer service is really bad.

This cabinet is the perfect height and size. Craftsmanship looks great. It was easy to put the final assembly together. It took about 30 minutes in total.

This is a very purpose-built piece of AV Equipment. If you need to hold a lot of equipment and need acoustic transparency as well as the ability for your IR remote to work you have very few options. I needed something low to house a center channel and all my AV Equipment and this was one of the few things on the market that could do that. Build quality is excellent I don’t feel like I overpaid on it even though it’s a very expensive piece of furniture. Heat dissipation and how it handles heat looks like it was very well designed. Soft-close doors and plenty of shelving space. The wheels on the bottom are not small but rather large and roll well.

It’s a shame that you have to spend three grand to get quality furniture these days, but the other media centers we looked at were such poor quality that we sprung for it. Delivery was fast – 10 days after ordering, but it will literally be a huge box dumped on your curb on top of a 4×6 foot wooden pallet. After unboxing, we had a large bag plastic lawn bag full of garbage and enough broken down cardboard to fill the back of our SUV with the back seats down and no visibility out of the back window. I had to drive to three different apartment complexes to dump all this trash, as our city does not offer bulk trash pickup and junk haulers / the dump charge a LOT. The pallet was the worst – too big to fit in anything but a large van or pickup truck, good luck getting rid of that! Delivery company blames the seller – SmartFurniture – says they include the pallet in the order, so be warned, you are getting a TV stand and a lot of trash with it!
