I was a little worried about buying one of these but when we bought our shop it had one in it so the little water line was already ran, but I do believe it came with some stuff incase you didn’t already have that set up. I’m so glad I purchased this one, it was totally worth the money! You have the option of hot, warm, or cold water, which is great because the older I have gotten the more and more I dislike cold water, weird huh? But great product, easy to instal, filter replacement will be easy.

I very much love this product. We got through a lot of water in the house and it is at a good height for my kids to use. Unfortunately when I turned the hot water portion on after 4 months of use it started to leak. The customer service with Avalon was amazing. Jill walked me through numerous troubleshooting and when all failed she put in for us to receive a new one. Thank you for the great help.

Update (1 year after purchase): Just under a year, the water started dispensing slower and slower until it just wouldn’t dispense. When I checked my warranty, it was just past the 1 year so I took my precious time in contacting Avalon and decided to fix or see what was wrong. After watching a few videos on their website and some others on YouTube, I opened the top, I saw that the water was frozen, so I thawed it and it started to work for 1-2 days and it froze again. I finally contacted Avalon to ask for assistance and hoped they knew what was wrong. Tyler H was such a huge help! He gave me instructions to do what I had already done so there wasn’t anything else I could do. Tyler says that the water shouldn’t freeze again and I explained that it did. I wasn’t expecting a replacement since it’s past the 1 year warranty. They sent me a box to return mine and shipped me a new one! I can’t express my gratitude enough! We drink so much water (and it’s so important), that when it wasn’t readily available, I had to use a small water filter which wasn’t fun for 7 people in a home. I’m so glad I contacted Avalon because their customer service is superb! Tyler was great to work with and very responsive! We are once again a happy hydrated family! lol
Update (6 months): now that we have to replace our filters, it hurts that it’s $100!
Update: it’s been a couple of months and we still love it. One of the complaints we have is that the tray below is small. The cups/mugs sit on it fine but just having it slightly larger would have been nice. I feel like my kids drink more water now that we have this and it’s easily accessible for them. My husband complains it’s sorta loud but I didn’t think so. It has a cooler so it sounds like a fridge kinda. Doesn’t bother me.
Original: My husband and I put this together so imagine me reading the instructions and him trying to “wing it” as usual ha-ha. Aside from that, it wasn’t too bad to install. We did have to drill a hole in our cabinets to run the (small) hose through to the sink. The manual was sort of helpful but the photos were not great and hard to see and it could have explained things better but we figured it out. The cold water is cold, room temperature is cooler and the hot water is pretty hot and will great for tea, instant oatmeal and Cup-O-Noodles! As far as value, it’s not like I buy these things often (first one) so I don’t know but it seemed reasonably priced.

Very quiet machine. If you have the right tools it is very easy to install. Hot water! Which I can appreciate. Also very cold water and room temperature. But above all no more having to carry the big gallons of water. No more buying water period! Money Saver! Which I am so grateful. Overall a great purchase. Had it for a couple of days and will see how well it does. Very happy with this purchase. For reference I purchased the stainless steel. Its very good looking 😉

DO NOT BUY, same as many other reviews, dispenser broke after 18 months conveniently after the 12 month warranty.
As many other have mentioned the same problem. The cold water started freezing inside the tank after 18 months of usage. Making the dispenser basically not work.
Contacting the customer support they advertise so much is a hassle. And once you contact them they basically tell you your warranty is void and tell you to buy a new one.

It’s easy to put together. Has got three drinking options – striking hot, cool, and very cold drinks. The taste from the carbon filters is noticeably distinct and yet to be fully embraced by the rest of the family. I loved that I didn’t have to buy bottled water anymore and could rely on the constantly flowing treated water in the house. Great value for your money.

Bought 1st water cooler in 2021, after 18 months the cooler started to freeze, no dispensing water at all, after 2 weeks of emails with customer service and numerous troubleshooting actions (open the cooler, clean the cooler, plug and unplug, delaying tactics), they decided it was a “technical issue” but infortunatelly for me, it was out of the 1 year warranty, so they offer me a $50 coupon and the promess it won’t happen again. In 2023, beleiving these people, I bought the second cooler, directly to them, since the coupon doesn’t apply to amazon purchases, 18 months later, guess what, it is freezing again. I called and they said the same exactly script from the first cooler. End of the story, 2 coolers and $500 later, I have no cooler, this is garbage and salespersons are misleading customers to buy this coolers knowingly that they are not going to work after certain ammount of time. STAY AWAY. DO NOT BUY. SAVE TIME AND MONEY. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU, THEY WILL TRY TO SELL YOU ANOTHER UNIT AND MISLEAD YOU.

Unplugging the cooler is the only way to stop the cooler from freezing as turning the cold switch off is not sufficient.

Based on the troubleshooting, it appears that a replacement unit would be needed as there would not be any further troubleshooting or replacement parts to resolve this type of issue. The unit is awesome and better than I expected. Thank you for getting easy of set-up and managing it. The Hot water is perfect for a relaxing cup of tea ( if I every have to wait 3 hours to be as peek to Van Houtte coffee water service again..NOT). If I knew sooner about this company and product. Promise I would have dumped the previously mentioned company much sooner.. great service (2 days from order to delivery WOW 😲 , and looks great) ,built a stand and station for cup’s and condiments. No problem . Simply hook up water supply line, (easy to do) turn on water wait 15 minutes. Walla cold and hot water 🌊💦 10 of 10 and kudos to them.
