All I did was put it 12 inch blade on it and that thing will cut through anything she wants, we’ve owned it for eight months now and got a lot of use out of it.

I thought i got the 12v but glad i got the 18v cause man does it make a job easier yeah its got some weight to it but the power is there when needed i highly recommend getting the 18v over the 12v you want be sorry you did with good blades it makes the job go way faster.

Batteries must be ordered separately, which substantially increases the cost of this saw, but it is well worth it. Battery lasts a good amount of time–I ordered a 2-pack, but so far have not lost juice enough to need the second battery. (I haven’t used it for hours at a time, though.)
