Works great for small places. Used a 3-1/8 wood blade for hardwood floor repairs in hard to fit areas. Guide plate is a bonus with depth adjustment.

It will work on a 2.0 battery but it doesn’t have a lot of power. Consider that I use that to cut metal. I was cutting a Sheet of high strength steel just to test it. With the high output batteries it makes a significant difference (5.0 or 6.0) it should cut wood with no problem at all. The nice thing is the fact that is a mobile grinder so you don’t need a compressor and an airline hooked up. Another nice thing is that you can reverse the way that it’s spinning to redirect the sparks or the residues to the preferred direction. Anyway. I hope that helps. If you’re looking for strong grinder like a 1hp, this isn’t the product for you. I would recommend snap-on or Cornwell if that’s the case.

I use this tool for everything, I open packages with it, cut sheet metal, deburr with it, and it’s even the greatest zip tie cutter of all time. Don’t know what I did before I got one of these! Great for fabricating, makes modifying peices much much easier! Would definitely recommend!!!
