Snow Dog Dad –
I do a lot of tinkering with LED strips. Most LED strips use either 5, 12, or 24 volt power. This adjustable power supply is perfect for my workbench as I can dial-in the voltage I want. (I recommend dialing in the voltage you want *before* you plug the power supply in to whatever device you are powering.)
The voltage adjustment dial is very sensitive; it does not “click” between voltage settings, but rather allows you to make very small adjustments which I do not need. I’d prefer a hard click between voltage settings, but the micro adjustments could be useful. I did some testing with a voltmeter at 12v and 24v; the output on the display was almost exactly what my voltmeter measured.
This power supply supports up to a maximum output of 72 watts at 24 volts. This is more than enough power for most of the LED strips I work with.
It comes with a polarity converter and quite a few adapters to convert to different types of output jacks including USB-C and micro-USB outputs. I have not had a chance to use most of these and probably won’t, but their inclusion does make the power supply very flexible.

I like this power supply – it’ll be nice to have in my lab.
I’ve attached images showing a 1.1 amp load at the “Max” voltage according do the dial. The first image shows the self-readout on the supply itself, the second shows the load (it’s a string of LEDs), and the third shows voltage stats over time. The output reading on the supply is “pretty close” to RMS voltage over a large sample – pretty decent for such an inexpensive supply.
I agree with the reviewer who said he probably would not run this thing at it’s full rated power for any extended length of time. The 1.1a load is enough to make it more-than-luke-warm – it is not hard to imagine it getting very toasty. Unfortunately I can’t find my nichrome so I can’t do a full load test :/
The selection of tips is really nice – I’ll be able to use them both with this supply and with my bench supplies should the need arise.

Pretty good little variable power unit, I like how much smaller it is than my other multi power adapters. Its mountable with 2 screws as well.
Keep in mind the voltage on this unit WILL drop when you load it up, for most things this isn’t a huge issue – you can compensate by putting the voltage just a little higher but as always be careful not to overvolt something. I saw drops of about .3 to .5 on load
The tips will also get pretty hot – so far nothing has melted though which is more than I can say for other units.

Works as it should. Didn’t have the end I need for what I bought it for but will be able to use it for something else.

This is a nicely rounded kit. It may not have every tip on the planet, but it has a bunch. I really like the wide array of voltage selections available in this device.
I only ended up using the full device a few times. Shortly after I got this kit, I ended up getting an adjustable power supply. That does what I was planning to do with this supply and then some. I was able to rig some leads to fit these connectors, so I really only need them now.
If you don’t have an adjustable power supply, this tool will be quite functional for you. I have used this or supplies like this in the past to either power something directly or to let me know what size I needed to order. It handles those tasks quite well. Because it is SO flexible, I think it is a great value. It can fit many sizes and provide the correct amount of clean power you need.

This is great for anyone who has multiple needs for AC cords but doesn’t want to have a collection of different cords.

Perhaps due to the variable output others describe, OR slight deviations from the displayed voltage, we couldn’t get this to power up my old AT&T speakerphone which came without the power wall-wart. I’m guessing we will find uses for it… perhaps to power up the COB LED light strip that is in-hand but yet-to-be-installed in our new rental home.

Works but you need to know how to use it.
