My thoughts on this power supply are, first of all, it’s lighter than I expected. It’s quiet, and doesn’t have that “twang” that some boxey power supplies like Astron have when you flip the switch to turn them on. Sitting on your radio desk, it’s a good looking power supply and doesn’t take up a lot of space, especially for a 50 amp unit. However, if I did have one complaint, it would be that the meter light is a bit too bright, and can be distracting. It would have been far better if it had a variable dimmer or even an option to turn off the illumination when not needed. Had it been dimmer and not quite as bright, it wouldn’t be a problem.

Running this on a Yaesu FT847, works well, plenty of reserve power at 50 amps. No noise, and otherwise works fine.
One issue, also mentioned by others is when you shut it down you get the odd voltage pulsing as it turns off. I try to shut the radio off first, but I don’t always remember. Does not seem to be a problem, but would be nice if it didn’t do it just for piece of mind.

Great replacement for all those aging Radio Shack power supplies out there. This little supply is really nice for the price and doesn’t get hot. When the fan runs, you can’t hear it. Well done guys.

i own one of these and compared to astron or samlex at over double the price they perform flawlessly. build quality is excellent ,and the fit and finish is flawless as well. highly recommend for powering your cb or ham station

Great little PS. The PS I had for my transceiver was giving me birdies (harmonics) on certain frequencies. This PS (SPS-1332) is really clean as far as harmonics. I do have little ones on 80 meters, but just touch the noise offset knob and they are gone. Good value and build well. Best PS for Ham transceivers under 30 Amps.

Never had this brand of a power supply before but is just works very perfectly and better than I expected
It has plenty of Amps to run 2 or 3 radios and very good on the voltage meter and the Amp meters
I also like the white LED lights on the meters so you can see it quite well , and didnโt need a separate power cord to run the lights in the both meters on the front of the power supply, for the voltage and the Amperage meters
I am very satisfied with this product and does more than I thought it would
Itโs built very well and not that heavy at all and does just what I want it to do
I would give it 5 stars and has more than amperage than I need

I like this little supply, and it is little, small and light. This is my first switching supply. I always liked the ones with the big, heavy power transformers. I am using it to power a vhf ham transceiver, which draws 20 amps on high power. The supply provides this effortlessly, does not get hot and the cooling fan has not kicked on at all. There is no radio noise from the unit. I can vary the voltage from 9 to 15 volts, but I just leave it on 13.8 and it stays there, with no lag under a 20 amp load. I like having separate voltage and current readings, and they are large, bright and easy to read. I really have no complaints, but it would have been nice to have a second pair of power jacks on the back panel. The single pair of back panel connectors do not appear to be particularly heavy duty for a 30 amp connection.

I ordered this supply to use with my Xiegu G90 HF Transceiver. It works great providing a stable supply voltage under load and in proximity of my 100W XPA-125B linear amp. The supply is EMI noise free and easily handles the full 30A load.
