The product is totally overrated. It is so poorly developed that I don’t even want to evaluate it. Voltage regulation is far from the description. Total power 72W???? Well, maybe in a space with excellent cooling. If I power one lamp with 36VDC 300mA and after half an hour, the box is hot, and after this box opens – the radiators are impossible to touch, and the transformer is too. Who can imagine what will happen with a load of 2A???? I am not a layman… I am an electronics designer with over 35 years of experience, and NO ONE will convince me that “THAT SOMETHING” can power six lamps at 300mA each! I am leaving aside the issue of voltage regulation. A NIGHTMARE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! This is a typical Chinese production – amateurism blows away. I am sorry….never again similar products… Cheap in electronics will always mean – no good.

So far this seems to work ok Iโve only use it on two different settings so far seems to of held up past the one month return time so this is good I use it maybe every other day or so

Can no longer recommend this adapter. Worked great for about a week and now gets really hot under load. Can’t recommend. Glad I was home when I noticed the smell of it starting to burn…ymmv

Not sure I would recommend. Might just be on my end, but I do find other reviews to be accurate. We used it for a short time, it got hot, but did not melt. It was easy to use. Appears to be made well and durable. Did not power as I hoped.

I am extremely pleased with this unit. The range is awesome 3vd-37vdc and the adjustment is analog not a click setting, in other words you set the exact voltage you want. The red LED read-out is nice and bright, and the voltage it displays is very close to the actual voltage delivered – I saw maybe 100mv difference. The output voltage remains steady with a load/or no-load. The assortment of cables you get are great for the hobbyist or for backing up virtually any device. I love the adapter with alligator clips or the one with screw tighten-down for fixed wire output. I did not test it full load 2amps but at about 25% load the supply does start to get warm. Overall – I’m really impressed with the performance and versatility you get with all the extra cables/connectors!

I bought it to โwakeโ the battery management module of a 36 volt lithium battery. If you have lithium batteries in your boat, they can go dormant if left unused too long or if they discharge too deeply. Only way to wake them is with a shot of the correct voltage.
