The Pyramid Universal AC-DC 12V Power Supply Converter works just as i suspected i would by another if i had the need for it.
The size coincides just right with my radios no weird looking shapes to deal with.
Provides the right amount of power i need for my 12v device, Great Purchase couldn’t be happier.

It said there was a newer version of this PSV150 for a cheaper price. So I bought the newer version. Got it delivered today and put it to the test. It only put out 11.44 Volts. Not the 13.8V that it should be. I immediately returned it the same day for a refund and ordering some other power supply brand. Also I had contacted Pyle on their website chat support asking what the difference is between the old vs new version of this PSV150 power supply. The rep really could not answer the question and said that there is no new version of this model and that the cheaper price is probably due to sourcing cheaper parts. No matter this unit did not perform as claimed. 1 star for wasting my time and false specifications!

First think I checked (based on reviews) was the voltage – 13.7v. Next was to plug in my radio, only to find the “Hassle-Free Screw Terminal Connectors” are a non-standard width apart so my plug won’t work. There are also no wire holes through them even though the instruction book says there are. Not really hassle-free. But in the end it is powering what I wanted it to, so 3-Star.

I use this unit to power my 25w radio. It provides strong, clean and constant power. It’s easy to use, just “plug & play”.

This power supply seems pretty good so far, after just a couple of days of use. So far the fan has not come on at all but I have not stressed the power supply yet. I like that it is rather low profile and can fit under my desk cabinet and with side vents and rear fan even the cabinet above it does not block the air flow.
The one thing that is annoying is that the binding post does not have a side hole for the wire. I needed to carefully wrap a long section of stripped wire around the post. I’ll switch that to a proper spade lug when I get a chance.

This box with the test light were the right ones for the job. Found the short and my bike lights are working well.

I am running my UV 50×2. Holds good voltage, clean signal. Fan rarely comes on, isn’t at all loud. The radio is sitting on it is about the only way I noticed it.
