I still have my old coleman mummy bag for “adults” which I get lost in, and it’s wonderful, but twice the size I needed. Finally got smart (yes, it took 79 yrs..so there is hope for you, too.) and saw in one of the small bags for kids UP TO 5 FEET children. I’m not that tall, and a bit wider if I’m being honest, but this bag for kids is perfect for my “almost 5′ tall” person. I use it in my hammock..light to back pack, and perfect for summer.Since I rarely get the hankering to sleep in a hammock at -12 F even with two underquilts and everything the hammock will hold to make a nest.
If you are skinny and 5′ …give it a try. You can always give it to a kid if you don’t fit. Hint: I make a foot box by zipping up the bottom about 2 feet and putting the zipper on the “bottom” and use it as a big quilt over the top or myself. Snug, easy in and out and your feet don’t hang off your sleep mat and get cold.
