Good luck with the adhesive. I installed 5 of these in a shadowbox and 3 of the 5 lights fell down in less than 24 hours. Going to have to get some adhesive strips to re-secure them. Lights are bright and look good but adhesive is of poor quality.

These are nice little lights. I really like that they use batteries so that you can just buy batteries rather than throwing away the whole thing. They are light and are easy to mount to most anything. They aren’t super adhesive but are good enough. I love that they are click on and click off. I use them in my closet and they do a great job of lighting a small space. They are kind of pricy but we’ll worth it.

I place two of these lights in each lid of my three motorcycle hard cases. One gets used, the other is only a backup for when a battery eventually dies. Used two riding seasons, I’ve traveled over 53,000 miles on the original batteries. I camp most of the time, but these lights are only see brief when looking in a case at night. They take up almost no space, and 5 held in place up to 105F and winter storage at down to -10F. Just one came unstuck from it’s lid. Probably due to my forcing the lid closed and jamming something against it. Thousands of miles on gravel roads in Alaska and Northern Canada, certainly not an easy life for them.
Liked these so much I recently ordered a third set. The extras from my first order went into my wife’s bike. Now that I understand how great they are for this purpose, I want to ensure I have spares.
When placed correctly in the lids, I have no direct light glare and they shine down into the top loading cases. One of these buttons provides the perfect amount of light to perfectly illuminate a suitcase sized area, without being overly bright. Too many people buy the brightest light available, then sit around a campfire blinding everyone with their headlamps. These offer a sane amount of light for many brief use cases.
Personally I wouldn’t use them for longer duration cases like reading. The small battery cell is just not economical for long sessions. For hiking, cooking or reading use cases a single AA LED flashlight on low with a diffusion cover makes far more sense.

These are about the size of a quarter and can be stuck just about anywhere you need some extra light. I was surprised how bright they are & how long they last. Easy to unscrew to replace the 2 CR2032 batteries.

I bought these for my boat specifically in the glove box and livewell. I tested the adhesion in a wet environment and they don’t fare well and I didn’t expect such. However, being advertised as waterproof, they should be, but for less than $12 what do you expect. I’ll place 2 of these in my livewell for when I’m pulling fish out in the evening. I placed one in my boat glovebox and it worked perfectly. Was actually surprised only one lit up the glovebox well as the glovebox is massive.
These lights are 16 lumens and you sure get all of them. Perfect for small areas.
