Really nice chairs that we are using around a kitchen island. Assembly takes about 20-30 minutes per chair and involves 24 screws per chair, but once assembled they are really sturdy. I exceed the 220 pound weight limit by a fair amount so no worries there.

The packaging protected the parts very well. The finish on the wood is very good for this price range. (You’re not getting Ethan Allen for $50!) But it really looks much nicer than expected. The design and construction is solid. In one photo you can see how the legs join the ring. The load is supported by wood only. The screws do not bear a load, they just hold the joint together. Assembly is tedious, but there’s no way around that. OTOH, assembly was simple and the instructions were clear. The included 4mm hex key is so long that it won’t clear the wood. You have to reinsert it every half turn. If you have a shorter one, you may be able to make complete turns, saving a lot of time.

Good value for price. Looks great along our kitchen island. Swivel is solid and anticipate no problems. Went together without any difficulties. One leg was 1/8 inch short so I just added two sided tape layer prior to attaching felt pads on bottom of legs. Even with this minor hiccup would rate high value for the price.

I would recommend applying a quality wood glue to the joints during initial assembly. The wood screws will eventually work loose if the stool is used much, and the joints are not glued. The assembly instructions definitely have the correct assembly steps. You will definitely have less problems if you follow them in order.

I bought this stool for work because I was recovering from an accident with broken ribs. I constantly spin around to the machine and back to the work table. This was the only thing that helped. It gets used up to 40 hours a week. I have to tighten the bolts every 2-3 weeks. They keep working themselves loose. Wobbles a little (1 or 2 legs are longer). The cushion also feels to be flattening a bit. Guess I could buy some wood glue to fix the main issue. Either way, it’s a decent item, not perfect.

I needed a 24″ stool for playing guitar and didn’t like any of the metal ones. Not only are they kind of ugly (especially compared to this), many reviews said they were hard to assemble and uncomfortable. This looks MUCH nicer, was easy to assemble, and is comfortable enough for me.
The seat is bigger than I expected, 15″ across, and that helps with the comfort level. Some reviews say it doesn’t have enough padding, but I don’t find that to be an issue. The seat turns fluidly.
This is a relatively inexpensive item, so don’t expect perfect workmanship. For example, mine doesn’t sit perfectly flat on the floor, but it’s close (and I don’t notice it when on carpet).
One of the legs I received cracked as soon as the screw went into it. Their customer service was great. They sent me a replacement right away and I was able to finish assembling it.
