This rack is well constructed and well thought out. Love how solid it is.

Only fly inn the ointment is the fender is warped and crooked facing the rear. See second photo. Still, I am happy with my purchase.

I had a triangle frame bag before I decided to go to this rack along with the hardshell bag. The frame bag always interfered with pedaling as the inside of my thighs would always rub on it. This caused me to have to constantly adjust my legs. I wanted the frame bag gone a long with more storage, plus the option to expand with side bags if the need arises. I was hesitant to put on the cargo rack at first, I wasn’t sure it would look that good. But now that it’s installed I like it. It has the same matte black finish as my bike frame and really looks like it could have come with the bike to begin with. It did add a noticeable amount of weight to the bike. I realized this lifting the bike up to place it on the wall rack I have. But the extra weight isn’t noticeable while riding. I was pleased to find that the ride quality of my bike has improved since installation. I think the extra weight on the rear allows the bike to absorb the impacts better. I noticed that while riding on the uneven brick roads in my neighborhood that the comfort of the ride had improved significantly. Plus, when jumping off or on tall curbs at speed, the bike feels much more solid. Installation was easy following the YouTube video. I found that using a tape measure to ensure the bars that connect the rack to the lower rear frame are exactly the same length made it much easier. This also ensures the rack is level and centered on the bike. So, overall I am pleased and would highly recommend this rack.

Love my bike rack. Easy to install and adjust. I did the entire install in 20 minutes. I have put 40 pounds on the rack and it’s sturdy and stays in place when clamped properly. I like so much a got a second one for my other bike. Living the life, cheers!

Got mine installed yesterday. As other reviews mentioned the included instructions are all but useless. Usually each part is numbered and one follows an Ikea style assembly buy attaching part #1 to the hole in Part #2 etc. Not the case here at all. The pictures are vague and lacking in details. I got far more information on how to install by referencing a pic of the finished installation. That said it can still be tricky as some parts do not follow intuition and if you’re not experienced working bikes/cars one can get easily lost in the minor details. That said, once I got it all figured out I am pleased with the performance and sturdiness. I took it for a 20 mile ride with zero problems. I love the fact the basket can slide to adjust as this feature came in very handy b/c the length of the stem that attaches to the seat neck didn’t clear the bottom of said seat. If the basket was not reposition-able it just wouldn’t fit. The support bars that run down the side and clamp down can be a challenge, just take it slow and keep referencing the pic of the finished product. Once you figure out the 1st one the 2nd one will be a piece of cake. Don’t forget the rubber spacers which will prevent the clamps from scratching your paint but will also improve the grip. The spacers were a puzzle for me but once you get the concept (which isn’t explained) their presence in the parts bag make perfect sense.

I like what I got and the price is good but I just cant stress enough that if you’re not mechanically inclined you might wanna get someone with experience to do this installation for you. Other wise its a good product for the price.

Received yesterday and installed on my Trek mountain bike. Directions are simplistic at best but enough to get you in the right direction. Product seems well built, although their were a couple burs on the weld spots which were sharp but knocked them down with a file easily enough. Went together well and definitely seems sturdy enough for what I want to use it for. (Tying a small backpack/camelback to it for extended trips)

The only complaint thus far, and it’s not an issue with the product itself, is that the mounts that connect the lower rods to the frame are just big enough that my heel can slightly rub on them when peddling. Not a big issue, I’ll just have to be cognizant of that fact. Might try to find slightly longer peddles so my feet can move out about 1/2″. Will try to update the review in a few months to to elaborate on the durability of it.
