Facile à assembler mais les instructions ne sont pas très claires.
Somme toute très bonne conception!
Poignée et petites roues de transport sont appréciés.
Très solide et capable de supporter mes Fatbike de 66lbs chaque.
Par contre, les courroies ratchet sont trop courtes pour une roue de Fatbike avec un pneu de 4’’.
Il faudra sûrement en ajouter d’autres pour assurer le tout.
Les serrures sont de piètre qualité et vont probablement figer rapidement aussitôt qu’elles seront
Les quelques vis et boulons sont à peine plaqués noir et vont rouiller rapidement.
Petit détail, pour quelques sous de plus, Il serait intéressant de les fournir en acier inoxydable.
Oui, je recommande ce produit.

I was initially put off at the price, but when I received it I was pleasantly surprised. It looks and feels durable. It is a more expensive model of bike racks, but I’ve always perceived Thule products as higher end. I’ve seen other brands of similar style racks on many cars and none looked as heavy gauge of metal and simplistic in operation. It should pass the test of time. I have a mtb rebuild that will not fit the hanging style racks so I purchased this and am really pleased with the ease of operation and assurance of my bike staying in place with the locking arm. Would recommend

The bike rack seems a touch wobbly with two electric bikes on it, however we made it from the Okanagan to Calgary and back with no issue. Happy with it so far!

There are Inner and Outer Covers that are really weak. This rack from the respectful brand and not the cheapest, but it makes me disappointed about the quality.
btw this spare parts cost $96 CAD. I have no idea why it’s cost an arm and a leg.

This was extremely easy to put together. Very Sturdy and folds down and out of the way when I need to open my truck’s tailgate.

The Thule rack looks like it will be durable and has nice features. I will say this, a simple allen wrench can remove the hold down bars and the bikes can be removed quite easily. Do not leave these unattended for a long period of time.
Assembly was relatively easy. The instructions are not the best. I watched a 10 minute video and it was pretty straight forward. I like the lock pin so it is secure to the hitch. Honestly, if someone really wants the rack or the bikes on it, they will get them but that’s pretty true of anything. I have always had good luck with Thule and expect the same with this rack.
The seller on the other hand was not a great experience. I had the rack 99% built and fixed to my hitch when I discovered that the two screws that secure the hold down bars to the rack were missing. The sellers response was to send the rack back for a refund. Take the rack apart, find a box to fit it in, drive it to UPS and await their refund. They told me they cannot contact Thule themselves, they have no relationship. It would cost $75 bucks to send it back. I asked for a parts credit and received only a “return the product” back to us. Makes no sense. The hardware bag was opened so I can only assume that someone went through this rack before it was shipped. Had to do more legwork than I should have for a new product and an expensive one at that.

RV trailer use caused this rack to disintegrate. The manufacturer replied to my complaint by pointing to a hidden section in the user’s manual that says it should not be used on trailers – but without an explanation. Disappointing.

Great rack with a solid build quality, lightweight and relatively easy to install and take off, as one would expect from Thule. BUT, when you try to put on 2 bikes, you run into issues with the frame lockdown arms as well as the wheel cradles. Since both frame lockdown arms are mounted on the same post (as opposed to separate individual posts like Thule’s much more expensive offerings) you may not be able to fully hold down a frame on one side if the arm holding the other frame is too low and prevents it from getting to the right height.
On the other hand, works great for 1 full suspension MTB.

The tire shoes would not fit on the horizontal bar making it unusable. Even if we could get them on, the 2″ hitch was so sloppy in the receiver it would not have been sturdy enough to drive with. I question if this is an authentic Thule product. If it is Thule quality is horrible. Luckily return through Amazon was a breeze.

The rack itself is great. Instructions are clear and the assembly takes about 30 minutes. The rack tilts up when no bikes are on it and it tilts back for easier access to the trunk (although, on 2014 camry, the hitch is far enough out so that the trunk opens in the regular position as well). Taking off and putting on the rack is fairly easy as well ND takes a couple minutes.
The only thing that surpasses the value of the rack is the great customer service at “Bike A Mile.” The locks for the bikes were damaged during transport. I contacted customer service and they sent me a brand new rack within 4 days (including delivery) just in time before our trip. Thank you!

I have Thule Kayak rack and it is so well built I searched the reviews and am totally satisfied with this purchase of this bike rack. It does everything above other racks I have had in the past. Easy to install on your trailer hitch which comes with adapter to fit different size hitches. It also locks to your hitch so that peace of mind. It folds up very easily with just only lever when no bikes are being used. It is very easy to adjust to different size bikes without tools and after it is set it takes a few seconds to secure your bikes to the rack. The cradles for the tires fit everything from a road bike to a fat bike tire. Bikes are secure when attached with no movement to be able to touch or rub on the other bike. It also comes with locks for the bikes to the rack. If you need access to the tailgate you just pull a latch and the bikes swing down to open tailgate without having to remove the bikes. Looks really good on vehicle as well and because its Thule you know your purchasing quality. Totally satisfied!! Have driven on highway and on rough roads and no rattles or noise from the rack. It has a bit of sway but that is normal. Pay a bit more but definitely worth it. If your purchasing for ebikes would have to step up to a more expensive rack from thule because those can weigh over 60 lbs per bike. This is around 37 lbs per bike so good for a most other than an ebike.

This is a reasonably priced solution to carry to bicycles safely. Fits into either a 1.5” or 2” trailer hitch. It is well made, and it seems that it will last. My only complaint, thus the 4 stars not 5, is that the instruction pamphlet has no text, it’s just line drawings. I found it difficult to follow, and had to take it apart at one point and correct a mistake. This is not the seller’s fault, but Thule’s.
