Let me Just start off by saying this Air Rifle is the work of some absolute incredible engineering.. And I must say i love the thing… BUT if you are somewhat new to Air Rifles ESPECIALLY PCP or anything that uses a rotary Magazine, You should look into something else for your 1st Rifle. Unless you are a good engineer or just Very good with mechanical devices then you may still want to do your research before buying.
I can already tell a lot of the Negative Reviews and Naysayers are probably ppl with little to no experience with this type of Rifle.
Ok, to the Reviews.. The Rifle Shoots expectedly well. I Could snap off 10 rounds in under 3-4 seconds. Some ppl are complaining about the Trigger but I have been shooting ALL TYPES of Guns whether its Firearms or Airguns my Entire Life. So this trigger was not a problem for me. Creep was short and the wall is very predictable breaking in the 5-6lb range. Almost similar to a DAO Firearm, the Sig P250 comes to mind..
I have not decided on any permanent optics yet so accuracy is still being tested) but I have rapped off about 10 Magazines without any issues (if any should arise I will definitely report it back here) BUT.. AND THATS A HUGE BUT.. I had to adjust each Magazine accordingly hence cleaned, adjust the spring tension by either losing or tightening the Phillips screw on the front of the Magazine. I also applied ***SILICONE*** spray and lube to the Magazine, bolt area, fill probe orings (which I converted to foster male quick connect) If you disassemble the Magazine (I did this be accident) be aware that it is under tension and the entire thing will “jump” off the table if you losen the Phillips screw to much. If this does happen do not worry, if you look closely at the inner wall of the Red center piece that separates the pellets you will see a tiny hole on the INNER WALL , and at the BOTTOM of the black section of the magazine you will see another tiny hole. THESE 2 HOLES ARE where you will seat the Magazine tension spring.. Wind the tension spring 2 TIMES COUNTER CLOCK WISE. I’m not going to kid you this was no Easy Task, But is absolutely crucial for the Magazine to have proper tension to reliably index the next pellet into the firing position (behind the bolt) The Reason I am going in such depth with the Magazines is because ALL THREE OF MINE DID NOT WORK STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX..!!
TRUST ME, I WAS PISSED. I ALL MOST SENT IT BACK, But after cooling down and watching a few more videos on the Rifle (Although not many videos on Hatsan Magazines except for loading them. Sheshhh.. That’s the easy part, putting them back together PROPERLY is just no Fun. But it’s an absolute MUST AND VITAL if you want a proper working semi automatic Air rifle. After I went through and properly adjusted and lubricant all three Magazine they all functioned flawlessly. You see, the magazines are the heart of this particular rifle and more than likely all Hatsan Semi automatic rifles. The biggest complaint seems to be Jams and failure to feed issues. These problems will 90% likely be due to some sort of Magazine issue. I already know what you are going to say….”Why in the hell do I have to do all that crap just to have a little fun and get some Semi Auto Trigger time on an Air Rifle.. !?” Well IDK to tell you the truth, I kind of didn’t like it at 1st but then realized this is something I need to know anyway so I dove in and took care of it. I have been using, building, fixing, collecting Airguns for Well over 35 years with 15-16 years on PCP’s. So this is obviously something I love to do…. This is one hard hitting, fast firing, fun shooting , and from what videos I am seeing very accurate rifle (I am probably going to go with a larger scope with an Adjustable Objective) This Rifle is still new to me although some of its basic functions I am familiar with some I am not but over time I will be learning more and more about this incredible rifle.
To sum up, save yourself a headache and get something else if you are new to all this. But if you are experienced, and want a Bad Ass Air Rifle at a reasonable price,
This is it…

Only problem is, there’s very consistent jamming. So far, the fun-factor is equal to the time I spend fixing it. I’ve only had it 3 days.
Amazon Customer –
I bought it a year ago. I bought a scuba tank and had it filled. 100$ for the tank and 2$ to fill. I scoped it and fired it a few times in the first couple months, then it sat in the bedroom as house protection. For the next 8 months I shot other pellet rifles. Then I got it back out and not only did it hold air the whole 8 months, but it functioned flawlessly, without lubrication or attention of any kind. Now its all I use and I love to take it up on the roof and shoot rats. It is very quiet compared to my nitropiston rifles. It allows me fast follow up shots. It has been rained on and lives in the very humid tropics, yet aside from the metal charging handle, I cant find any rust on it at all. The slide is smooth, loading is perfect, never had a jam, or a misload, or any problems.
I consider it a workhouse and I love it.
The bad: The stock is far too short for my arms, I will be putting on a recoil pad and hoping for the best on 3 needed inches of length. Could not find a gun case it would fit into. I dont believe it came with a sling, which I need to walk the perimeter without having to carry. Comes with 3 magazines but only holds two total. Seems like they could have easily added another down below in the storage slot, which I think is pretty cool. The magazine is weird to load until you watch a video on YT someone else made, not Hatsan. And finally, I cant find any extras for it.
I would get a couple more of these if I could, all in all its something I think should have been built in the 80’s, so I could have had them my whole life. Now if they could just come up with a full auto version of this exact rifle…..that would be sick.

I like the gun, it’s a little on the heavy side. I also got a chronograph and as of right now I haven’t shot any pellets faster then 760 fps. I have pellets from 20grain to 43 grain. The box says it shoot 870 fps but in the description says it shoots 900 ft per second.

I hate this gun it’s under powered i only took the chance because they have it listed as a 900fps gun so I figured it had to have the power of the other 900fps guns but after I received it I realized it didn’t so I figured I just had a fun semi gun to plink with then the pressure gauge broke and the seller wouldn’t fix but did offer a refund but like a idiot I had my painted when I received, then I noticed on the box this gun is only 870fps I contacted the seller and they agreed they messed up and said they would fix now it’s been a month and they are still advertising this gun as a 900fps gun, not to mention this gun will only shoot one type of pellet and that’s the diablo 33gr anything else will spray I tried the Nelson slugs and they literally hit 2ft from the target, maybe I got a lemon with a bad air tank and barrel but this is my review and it’s a honest review
