This is an incredibly close replica of the Glock 19X. The size, weight, and weight distribution is very good. Most of the exterior dimensions are very similar, so it should fit most holsters. It doesn’t fit my Safariland, however.
Aside from the obvious fact that this is a half blow back that shoots steel BBs using CO2, the differences are:
~ the slide release only functions on the left side, and is non-functioning on the right side.
~ the light mount is different, in that the notch is narrower, so you’ll have to use a skinnier adapter for your light. You won’t be able to hot-swap from your Glock 19X. If you’re good with a Dremel, you could probably adjust the Umarex and remove the excess material so it matches the width of the notch as the Glock 19X.
~ the trigger does not lock back after dry firing, whereas in the real Glock 19X, the trigger remains in the rearmost position upon dry firing.
~ the inner diameter of the barrel is wide at the very end, but quickly tapers to the barrel diameter of the steel BB. I think this is why the Umarex does not fully holster in my Safariland holster, as the holster has a nub that fits inside the barrel. I wish this taper didn’t happen until further back in the barrel.
Overall, this is an excellent training platform for children with large enough hands and for adults, especially if you have the Glock 19X or similar. It will allow you to practice holstering, unholstering, target acquisition, magazine change, indoors or in the backyard, and for much cheaper than shooting real ammunition.

This is just like the Glock 9mm. Very similar external design but obviously different mechanical build. High quality sturdy design. Works flawlessly. Fits in my Glock 19 9mm holsters. (Don’t lose track of which one is in the holster. 😬) The quality of the build makes it hard to tell apart from the regular 9mms.
Shoots BBs accurately. Lot of fun to plink with!

It’s good for using at home, but if you’re looking for a good quality gun for airsoft sadly, this is not the product you were looking for although UmaRex is an overall good brand the only reason this is not a good airsoft, gun or reasons is because number one it’s sometimes it gets jammed and the first time this happened to me. I honestly thought I broke it but no all you have to do is just caulk the slide back and then the release it and then it’s fixed now if you if the trigger gets stuck honestly, the only way you can fix it is slamming it against your hand. It will hurt very little. And it runs out of CO2 very quickly. I bought a 25 pack of CO2 cylinders and I’m already down to two. It did last a good three weeks depending on how you use it. And how much you use it it can be an overall good deterrent for pests like rats and mice. I also find this gun useful for real life situation training. The only thing is, it does not come with BBs or CO2 cylinders. and this would be an overall great product which it already is but that is all this gun is good for besides that if you’re trying to use it for airsoft, it’s a no go and sometimes the trigger gets really stiff. Here’s a trick and a tip it has a a safety mechanism in the trigger. If you do not put your whole finger on the trigger, it will most likely not shoot this is because it has a double trigger mechanism, so yeah, this is overall good product but like I said, just don’t use it for airsoft.

The realistic feel and function of this is pretty cool I must say. If you’re on the fence trust me and get this product. It will exceed your expectations for a BB gun.

I bought this as a potentially interesting training tool, since it’s way cheaper to fire .177 via compressed air than 9mm rounds out of a real G19X/G45. The similarity to a real G is impressive, visually, and to some degree even by overall weight. But otherwise it’s not impressive at all. When trying to fire actual .177 rounds, misfires more than half the time, and is wildly inaccurate even at very close range. (Yes, I did lubricate the thing with appropriate silicone lube.) So, you can fire it “dry” (no .177 “ammo” loaded) and it’ll make a satisfying pop. But forget actually trying to shoot anything.
Bottom line: One of my worst Amazon purchases ever. Sadly, though, could not try it out before missing the return deadline. Given that its overall ratings distribution is different than my “one” (I would give it a zero if I could), I can only assume my experience is atypical.

Very powerful! It ran through 5 magazines with no problem. Not a single jam. After 5 mags, I would suggest changing the co2. Gun is great quality and the trigger is stubborn but you’ll get used to it. Looks, feels, and the weight is authentic. If this is your first gun that you are considering buying, get it! Great for the price. The groupings on the target were all in the range of my palm from 50 yards away. It has a safety which is nice and works, however you need nails to use it. The magazine is really nice and I love the drop free feature. Thanks Umarex for this amazing product!
