I have been using a speed-rope for a couple of weeks. Decided to get this heavier rope to see if it can provide higher intensity workouts.
Unboxing it, it didnt feel very heavy, I didnt expect it would be much different. I was wrong. Its much more difficult than speed-roping. I think part of it is that you have to jump a little higher to clear the thick rope. My legs were burning pretty quick.
But the additional stress on arms and shoulders is very noticeable.
The handles are thick, and made from solid feeling plastic. The bearings rotate smoothly. Seems very well built.
I have only had this a week or so, using it on a rubberized gym floor. The rubber from the floor started to transfer to the rope right away, but that is probably the fault of the flooring and not the rope. No signs of any cracking of the rope yet. Hopefully it lasts a good long while.

Great jump rope with added weight for upper body and forearm workouts. BUT you need to adjust the length for proper jumping form. Shortening the rope is difficult but doable if you have the right socket wrench.
6’3” and had to shorten the 10’ black rope by 8”

My teenage son recently got into fitness and recently broke his old jump rope. So, we got him this one. He absolutely loves it, and so do we. The material seems very sturdy as if it could last for a while before replacing it. The jump rope makes exercising fun for the whole family, but you will definitely feel it after a moment with the weight. You can definitely get into a sweat easily with this jump rope.

I am 5’11 and ordered the red 9ft rope and i have nothing but great things to say about it. I have used it on the docks, concrete and the mats and it doesn’t seem like the hard surfaces are wearing the rope down. I was really worried about the quality when I purchased it as I am used to paying for buddy lee ropes but I was not disappointed at all. I would highly recommend this rope.

I like this product and enjoy using it. This rope is like a heavy duty power cord with big solid handles and gives you a serious workout. I liken the comparison with a
normal rope and this one to the difference between running on flat ground and running uphill. Maybe Shaq used this rope in his prime. The drawbacks are that it’s not adjustable so make sure to choose the closest to the right size for you. Also even though I boiled it for some time (not the handles of c
ourse) and never coil it, it has an annoying kink which is not a problem once you get going.

I’m 5’11/6 feet tall and ordered the eight foot one after measuring all of my other ropes I’ve shortened. I would recommend if you are my height or smaller getting that size as you will find yourself able to workout better with a shorter rope than a long one.
Great spin. I’ve worked up with other Muay Thai ropes to using this like a traditional jump rope with only minor breaks taken. This is an incredible workout and a very well made rope.

This was my first weighted rope and man what a work out ! The handles are a little short and I think the rope is a ‘smidge’ short for 6’1″ but it works well none the less. The bearings are smooth , the weight is just right , and rope has held up well as I jump out on the street every other day (off days are speed rope).
I hit 150 reps after my workout right before my cool down walk. Gets the heart rate up and gives me one more blast to the arms, shoulders, legs..pretty much everywhere.
This is my 2nd rope from eliters and I’ll be back for sure . My speed rope has held up just as well.

I’m 5’6” and I bought both the red & blue ropes based on some of the reviews for best height selection. The red rope is 100% perfect for me. My 10 year old daughter is 5’1” and the blue rope is perfect for her. The rope itself spins freely and has a great weight to it. It’s exhausting! A 30 minute HIIT interval workout has me feeling depleted which is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend.

I have used heaps of high end heavy ropes for twice the price of this. This is by far the best I have used the design of the handles the weight and length are perfect. I have used this daily for at least 30min and it’s held up without issue. I’m 6’2 and the red rope was the perfect length out the packet. 10/10 this is the heavy rope
