The product continues to deliver…love it…but over the years of me using this product I am noticing it lays a little differently. My problem is not with Bare Minerals….it is with my aging skin. I need a better, more quenching moisturizer……and probably some voodoo magic water in a giant stanl3y cup! <3 this product!

I remember when the QVC commercials for this came out in the 90s. I have always wanted to try this. I have a stainless steel makeup palette. I like to apply the powder on its surface and swirl the brush that way. Emptying it in the cap gets things dirty. I wish this was a larger container/amount. We shall see how long this lasts. As far as performance, this works so well and looks so pretty! This would be great all on its own or on top of liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer. Works best if you wait for your moisturizer/sun screen to absorb before applying the powder. The container is great for travel and I love how the inside mechanism locks in place to keep the powder contained. Wish more brands did this for their powders!

I like the feeling you don’t have anything on your face and that if you swirl the brush good it will cover your nose pores. Issue I had, since I have adult acne prone skin, it will not 100% cover certain blemishes. I did have to use my liquid foundation for those but it blended nicely. The only drawbacks are the price and how much you will use if you don’t have perfect skin and it does get all over your counter since it is a powder so there is some waste (even though I tried to tap excess off). Even though I have oily skin, due to the brush action on your skin, it can dry it, so just something to be mindful of. And it did seem to keep the oil down, not completely, and looked nice but that’s my life!
I also bought another name brand I didn’t like as well so I will stick with this. I do recommend but you have to dry different products for your particular situation and skin type.

As a liquid and cushion foundation gal, I was skeptical of a powder being as good but I am quite pleased. I have rosacea and never feel fully comfortable being completely barefaced, especially when flaring, but I don’t want to wear my high-coverage cushion foundation on weekends when running errands. I’ve tried tons of skin tints, bb creams, and tinted moisturizers but have disliked them for one reason or another.
I read the other day on the Rosacea subreddit that someone’s dermatologist recommended just using bareMinerals loose powder for makeup since it has so few ingredients, it’s not likely to cause/exacerbate flareups. I recalled my sister using it 20 year ago so decided to give it a shot. I’m pleasantly surprised and pleased! You can build the coverage or keep it light, and feels very lightweight. I don’t feel or look overly done-up even if I build this to full coverage, so it’s versatile enough to wear with sweatpants or on workdays (I still plan to use my Florasis cushion foundation on workdays though). No more wasting money searching for skin tints, yay!
I bought the full face brush for initial application and then a concealer brush to fill in the lower areas of my face that the big brush has a hard time applying evenly. Slap on some powder blush so that you don’t look totally one-dimensional and you’re good to go!
