Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint Foundation, 30 Buff

Amé esta base. Tengo 54 años, la piel seca, madura (obviamente) y sensible, aunque me cuido e hidrato mucho. Soy de tez blanca y pedí el tono 03 Buff, me queda un poco oscura y es un poco rosada, yo suelo usar tonos de 1.5 a 2.5, mi subtono es neutro dependiendo la marca de la base. Peeero, esta base es tan ligera que no alcanza a notarse ni el tono, ni el subtono, cuando la aplicas y la trabajas se funde con la piel maravillosamente.
Empareja el tono de la piel, no marca líneas de expresión, ni texturas, ni poros, ya la usé con y sin primer y es buenísima siempre.
Al final del día, no me termina la cara acartonada ni molesta por la resequedad de otras bases, incluyendo las de alta y muy alta gama, (ni la de Armani, que es mi favorita, termina así de linda como esta), no deja parches, es sumamente cómoda. No tengo que ponerme brumas hidratantes durante el día a pesar del intenso calor seco de la Ciudad de México.
Cobertra ultraligera, no cubre manchas, pero da un aspecto de piel uniforme y bonita, de piel cuidada y sana.
Sin duda la volveré a comprar en un tono 02, estoy muy contenta y cómoda con esta maravillosa base. La recomiendo al 100%, todo un hallazgo.

This is the best stuff. NOW while I do HATE the doe foot and I do HATE the shape of the bottle, because tons of product gets trapped on the hard ledge at the top of the bottle. This needs to be a more rounded shape so that we can get all the product we paid for out of the bottle. & they need to remove the gross doe foot. I always break that off. BUT that said, nothing matches my old 52 year old lady skin tone better than this. I have tried soooo many foundations. None of them have worked. They either make me greasy or suck all the moisture out and dry me up like a prune and flake or sinks into fine lines i didn’t know i had or they oxidize orange or turn some weird crusty calamine pink. Now the only thing i have wrong with my skin, is the weird 52 year old lady undertone i have developed that is ever so slightly different from my neck and i used to work in a greasy distribution center so my nose developed a few small pours. Other than that, i do not have any skin flaws or problems. But i still had the hardest time finding foundation that worked for me at an acceptable price point. I have purchased everything from 5 dollars to 80, including the company that uses AI to match your skin tone. This is the only thing that i can use over those pours that blurs them out. No need for any pour fillers no need for any primers. I am a no nonsense, minimalist make up person. I don’t have to layer products before putting on this foundation. This can just go straight on and still looks fabulous and if you have blemishes , it is buildable, so you would be able to cover those as well if needed. This just looks like my skin, matches my neck perfectly so i don’t have to drag the color down there and it has never oxidized or turned another color on me, no matter if its cold out or hot as the dickens. It lasts all day with no slipping, even if i end up sweating outside unexpectedly. I live in Mississippi, any foundation that stays on in the sweltering heat is a flipping win. I’ve been using it for over a year now. I love it. I am mid way between fair and light skinned. I look best in silver and neutral to cool shades work best. I use nude 40 in winter and soft beige 50 in summer when im tanned. Mid seasons i blend the two.

I was a little doubtful Id like this after watching a few YT reviews but the Amazon reviews nailed it.

This is a beautiful light coverage foundation for dry and aging skin. It reminds me of a CC cream but with a more natural color to it. It adds just enough coverage to bluur redness and minor imperfections without accentuating dry areas or fine lines. Best of all, it looks like I have nothing on at all. It definitely helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day which I need living in the high desert. The formula is thick but i had no issues applying it with a brush, sponge or fingers. The only weird thing about this foundation is when I first apply it, it appears to oxidize a little bit but I cant really complain because that goes away as it dries down and the match is perfect and true to color for me. I have nw15 skin and ordered the lightests shade.

I’ve tried Il Makiage, Fenty, Laura Geller, Bare Minerals, the list goes on and on. All ended up in the trash. They either made my skin look caked with powder, or settled into every tiny line on my face making me look like a road map. I am 69 years old and don’t use a ton of makeup. I do know how to apply it, always sparingly, to get the best look. This Neutrogena is the absolute best tinted moisturizer I have ever used. Hands down. It stays smooth on my skin, and has just enough coverage to even out the imperfections in my skin tone. It feels soft and smooth, and the color matched my complextion perfectly! I just love it!!

I’m about to turn 40 and am coming to terms with my skin changing moisture zones, fine lines, and textures. I have been using the CC Cream from IT Cosmetics for close to 10 years, but decided to give this a try because at $40 a tube, it was getting ridiculous. I have more important things to spend my money on, and decided to try this because I am a HydroBoost moisturizer and cleanser user after my sis recommended them, and she works in Dermatology. I am SO glad I did! Wow! It is mess-free to apply because it has a large sponge tip applicator on a wand, similar to a concealer. I apply my HB gel water moisturizer and then when it dries I just swipe this on quickly in all of the areas that my face looks like it needs to be evened out. I blend it in with my fluffy liquid foundation brush in the same way that I would the CC Cream- and the result is wonderful. You cannot see it at all because it blends with my skin so well, and it lends an extra layer of hydration to the skin so that it doesn’t dry out throughout the day. My skin looks and feels healthy, glowy (not oily), and natural. I will buy this again, and again, and again- PLEASE don’t ever disco this, Neutrogena! This beats IT CC Cream HANDS DOWN. If some does settle after about 6 hours around my eyes (because I don’t use primer- I know), I just tap it lightly and it blends right out. It also doesn’t oxidize and make me look orangey by the day’s end like a certain expensive counterpart. The only people who may not like this product are those who enjoy a heavy, full coverage foundation. This is not one of those, although it is buildable but still pretty light due to the moisturizer.

Find your match and try this, ladies! It’s worth it and then some.

This foundation is very pretty on the skin and it was comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, this foundation ended up giving me small bumps all over my face every time I would wear it. I tried wearing it and removing it several different ways and it continually broke me out.
