This was my first purchase of Jane Iredale makeup. I previously used BM in Light. I used golden medium here and it was perfect.
I find the coverage to be better with this makeup. When I’m done, my skin looks much more even toned than with BM. And this covers quickly, instead of having to layer and swirl and tap and swirl and swirl.. I’m really tired of swirling. 🙂
My skin in general looks better since I started using this. I’m having less trouble with large pores. They’re not gone but they’re not as obvious, either.
I may be the only one who likes the little flat applicator it comes with, but I really do. It provides more coverage with less waste. Little to no waste, actually. The makeup goes on fast and easily with it and the coverage is superb. I’d say give it at least a try before you buy something else. Also, I wonder how many people rejected it without giving it a chance.
I find it lasts me all day. My skin is slightly oily so that makes it hard to find makeup that stays on, but this does well.
I purchased the compact separately. It is well made and feels nice in your hands.
Some reviewers have complained about crumbling but that hadn’t happened to mine. I’m a little bit careful with it but it arrived whole and has stayed in one piece. I hold it over the vanity, not the floor just in case .
I will definately buy again and am very pleased with this makeup.

I’ve used Jane Iredale Cosmetics for a few years now. I love the mineral powder for a nice face and neck coverage with sunscreen. I’d order more but Amazon does not have any in stock for my complexion.

I have so many powder foundations that I’ve lost track. I have one other that comes close to this Jane Iredale but the color match is not as good. I have a light complexion with cool undertones. Light Beige is spot on for me. I love the ease of using a powder. This one has decent coverage, doesn’t make my senior skin look dry or older and has some physical SPF as well. It also has a soft touch to the feel. Doesn’t get any better.

I love this product, especially for a person who is prone to acne and the hyperpigmentation that follows. This gives a nice simple natural coverage to my skin and the additional feat of 20 spf is great. I use it lightly and it covers enough for me to feel that it looks natural. In addition I bought the compact case (sold separately) to hold the product which is cute but really no room to store with a cushion pad for easy reapplication throughout a day. So I would give the product full 5 stars but because the compact case designed for this is sold separately and also isn’t designed to really hold a puff cushion, I’d really rate this 4 stars. Great foundation but the seperately sold compact case designed for this is why I lowered by one star.

I’m 51 years old and quit wearing any sort of foundation or face powder 6 years ago because every single one I tried seemed to highlight fine lines and wrinkles…instantly aging me and making my face feel like it was caked up. I have rosacea, a few sun spots, and sensitive skin, which makes putting anything on my face questionable. After reading so many reviews…I went out on a limb and paid more for any single item of make up than I’ve ever spent in my entire life….AND had to buy the actual case to put the powder in. I AM SO GLAD that I went for it. I got the Light , spf 20, radiant and when I say it is amazing, I can’t stress it enough!! It completely covers the dark spots, redness, shine, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. It makes me look younger and with the best most even skin tone. It lasts ALL DAY at work, even when I go to the gym for a light workout. Absolute best makeup purchase I’ve ever made!!! I’m a customer for life!

The coverage is from sheer to medium and buildable. with proper preparation of moisture first (or primer), the skin looks really good and not “powdery” and heavy. For me, the powder can last a good 4-5 hours at most, Before everything gets a bit “mushy”. My skin is quite dry, sometimes mixed – depending on the day…
