My husband has a severe allergy to the adhesive on nearly every brand of medical tape. After a surgical procedure over the summer, every bandage change left his skin in worse and worse shape to the point that it was raw. One of the nurses at his surgeon’s office suggested we try 3M Micropore and I will never use another brand. It held the bandage in place while allowing his skin to heal.

For the review that mentioned that it was weird for the tape to arrive in a small bag. READ! first word in the description is “non sterile”. Smh.
I tried the tape after reading the reviews. I figured I would try it since the mouth tape I’ve been buying doesn’t quite work all the time. The “X” shaped tape. This tape worked much better. My mouth was sealed all through the night. No dry mouth!!!! No residue. I will be buying more.
Update 6/12/24: my second roll leaves a small amount of adhesive residue. No big deal for me, it is in the description.
Also, 1 roll lasted me around 3 months and I used a generous length every night sometimes 2-3 pieces if I took a nap or had to remove it to drink water and replace with a new piece. I still have some left on that first roll too.
Not to happy about the residue but it’s not a deal breaker for me. This tape will stick very well, very, very well. Sometimes I just use my tongue to break through it to get it off. I’d rather have no mouth leaks and keeps my mouth and teeth healthy and not dried out. If you use a CPAP and have this issue this might work for you to.

I had to cover a 3/4 inch diameter wound on my forehead for two months after skin cancer surgery to let it heal without scaring. This tape sticks better than the bandages you can use and never came off when sleeping or when it got wet.

I’ve been using this for nighttime mouth taping for a about two weeks. It has been great – affordable, sticky, easy to rip pieces with no scissors, and easy to peel off. But it just smells pretty strong. I can smell the adhesive even when the roll is just sitting on my bedside table. I can also smell the odor when it is on my mouth.

This is the answer to all who have heavy snoring.
Just cut small piece about 2 inches and paste it diagonally on half mouth half open and start sleeping. It works every single night.
