Bought this for brushing my mini schnauzer. He likes it much more that the previous ones we tried. I use it daily on him. It is very gentle. So gentle my 17 year old little poodle well let me brush him with it and the Poodz hates being brushed.
It is not as easy to clean, I cannot just pull the hair out, I just use a comb instead.

I am a pet stylist and this is an amazing brush to use on the dogs that are scared of any tangles being brushed. It works and is soft but also not too soft . I have been able to use it on my most scared dogs and anytime i can !

This brush arrived today and is unfit for purpose. The outside pins have no safety tops and they are just sharp scratchy metal that would damage the skin. Some pins are missing or bent. This is not a premium brush it is really poor quality made in China . I thought Wahl were a good make and I was getting a bargain. I’ve read other reviews and can’t believe they are reviewing the same brush. Just a waste of time travelling to the post office to return it.

I wasn’t impressed when I first removed it from the packaging.
But I have to say I truly like this brush. I have had many dogs and cats throughout the years. Therefore I’ve used many types of pet brushes and rakes.
This by far is the gentlest one I’ve found thus far!!
I do recommend this slicker brush for soft coated dogs and cats. Not so sure how it would work on coarser curly ones.
Felt good in my hand, very light, easy to clean, good size for medium to large dogs.

Bought this to use on my mini poodle. It works great. Gets the little tangles out before they become mats and Anouk doesn’t mind it. Best discovery is that my long-haired cat actually enjoys being brushed with this brush and Fluffernutter walks up trying to rub on it when I take it out to brush the dog. And we have several more expensive ones (including the popular purple one) that she doesn’t like at all. Super affordable and easy to use. Would recommend and purchase again.

I used to use a long pin slicker brush on my 2 toy poodle girls and they hated being brushed. I read the reviews on this one and decided to give it a try (very reasonable price) and my girls love it! They don’t hate being brushed (as much – they still aren’t crazy about it) and they actually let me get through their curly hair, that gets tangled very easily. I can easily keep up with their maintenance so they don’t get matted and it actually takes me less time overall compared to the other brush I used to use.
I brought both of my brushes to a groomer for her opinion and she said to use this one over the other. So, this is a win. Highly recommend.
I only wish it came in a smaller size for toy breeds so I could more easily get under their legs and in harder to reach areas.

I purchased it for my 12lb French lop rabbit.
Overall works great and is gently enough that I don’t have to worry about it scratching his sensitive skin. Although the edge of the brush kind of makes it awkward to get into tighter spaces and makes it quite bulky, that’s why I feel like it’s for a medium-large size dog/animal. But other than that, it’s good.

This is a great Slicker brush it has protective tips at the end of each wire and the way it’s shaped it just Glides through the coat of my Siberian cat with a triple coat I come through first with their shedding rake that’s also awesome it’s a double row and the pin spin great for large dogs and I use it on my cat then I used the slicker works beautifully
