I got this to cover the bottom of my turtles above tank dock. She absolutely loves it, and it’s nice and soft compared to the bare dock!

I wouldn’t recommend this substrate. It came as advertised, but my leopard gecko’s mouth would get stuck on it when he tried to eat crickets off of it. He also is used to a loose substrate and got frustrated when he couldn’t dig a little bit like he’s used to doing when he finds a spot he likes. After a week, I had to switch him back to a safe loose substrate.

Got this for my new ball python. Was using paper towels which just looked sloppy. This is MUCH better. It is very easy to wash and doesn’t stink at all. I just spray it off in the shower and wash with mild soap. Then I spray some zoo med wipe out and let it air dry. Get 2 so when you are cleaning one, you can put the other in the cage

Fits a standard 10 gallon tank without having to trim. Easy to clean. Would like to consider an adhesive or something to prevent crickets from hiding underneath.

This liner has been a great substrate for my female adult leopard gecko. I’ve tried it after I was concerned with her becoming impacted with the reptile calcium sand in her terrarium as I had always heard that accidental ingestion was a problem. After seeing her eat a good bit of sand when she was striking at a cricket, I decided it was time to change her substrate. I’ve tried it for several days now and it seems to be a good solution thus far. I was worried about her claws snagging in it, but that hasn’t happened yet. Zoo Med’s 10 gallon product fits my terrarium perfectly and my gecko took to it just fine. Plus, it’s much cleaner than the sand. There’s nothing for her to track into her hide spots or into her water dishes — much easier to maintain for me!

Before purchasing this, I was using reptile bark for my leopard gecko. I was always worried about him ingesting it and it would get stuck to his feet and tracked everywhere. This carpet is so much better. It’s easy to cut to the correct size, I don’t have to worry about it harming my gecko, the gecko seems to like it, it’s SO easy to clean, and it looks nice. I ended up having enough to make two pieces that fit his tank so when it needs to be cleaned I don’t have to rush. I just take out the dirty one, replace it with the clean one, then can clean and air dry whenever I have time.
