This book was great and easy to read. Very insightful and learned a lot from it. And delivery was amazing as usual!
Hampig Minassian –
Overall great concepts explained in this book. The only thing I found was the author was repetitive in examining some of the concepts. Maybe it was his was of drilling it into to you but I got lost just reading the same points over and over . Some of the points were not explained clearly as to how to reach the concepts explained and just as well some of the subject or points were simplistic and didn’t go too much in detail.

This book was definitely better than I expected all while adding the cliche of judging a book by its cover. A very positive assertive approach but not overwhelming whatsoever. The book gives a great insight on various facets of describing pitfalls, habits, and such and how to combat them and quite honestly change your ways in order to finish and finish often. What stood out for me personally was the section on systems in your projects, to do lists, etc. and how it is the systems that are put in place what ultimately provide the structure to complete tasks. Take if from a long time serial start something out strong with passion and conviction to run out of steam and mainly interest or motivation to finish anything when the allure once fades. Will power and determination I possess, but I lacked a efficient and productive system to keep it going.
If you are suffering from almost done ITIS and/or if you’re life is full of projects, goals, dreams, hobbies, in the QUEE left incomplete or forgotten, then this is definitely your FIRST STEP. Easy and quick to read it automatically allows you have your first “Finish What You Started”. It provided a catalyst for myself to get me back in gear and I hope it does the same for you.

The book is more of a manual I’d say as it is very practical, easy to read and understand thanks to the examples and comes with the summary included. Almost like ‘Finish what you start for dummies!’ ๐

The only thing I did not like was the purple highlighting that was used on almost every page of the book. It is very distracting. I feel the seller could have warned me about that.

Iโve only just started this book but Iโm struggling with his constant verb tense flipping. He keeps going back and forth between past and present verb tense in the same sentence and itโs very hard to read through. At this point Iโm having to consciously change the tense in my head as I read. Please edit!

I got it on Kindle and it’s definitely worth it, probably even on the flexible cover version will be a great value for money. It touches many points and it gives practical examples of how to apply them (it doesn’t go too deep into the details but it’s good enough to get your started). I would recommend this to anyone who’s struggling on getting things done and want to have a book to come back to whenever needed

I haven’t completed the book yet, but I am amazed by the truth behind those sentences. It is very practical. Hands down, this is one of the best books I’ve ever read

As someone who has recently read a few of these books that help to self-organise I’m used to them not providing a magic bullet but confirming certain guesses that you already have or not – nothing more. This one is a bit different. It’s comparably very short – so you won’t waste too much time reading and can move on to actually doing things – and has a few things that can actually be implemented in one’s life rather quickly. Of course, “when the student is ready, the teacher appears”, and how I feel about it is at least in part thanks to others that came before, but this one was really very helpful. Thank you, Peter Hollins, you have done something pretty awesome to the guy writing this.
