I do wish there was more story to them doing the self work and self care. But this book was a good read. It truly shows people that you can always choose happiness for yourself.

I did thoroughly enjoy the book, but I didnβt get as hooked on it as I did with The Way I Used To Be. I liked the love story, I liked that they both realized who they needed to be in the endβ¦ but the end felt rushed and we donβt even know what happens to Kevin?? Which I felt like we got robbed of knowing. I understand that now that Eden stood up for herself in court and kicked ass and did what she needed to do, maybe it didnβt matter?? But I was hoping to get an answer on if he went to prison AND maybe a slight repair in her relationship with Amanda since they were friends once upon a time. Without Amanda, who knows if Eden wouldβve come out with the truth. Even just a conversation between the two once it was all over wouldβve been suffice. The fact that Gen came to see her so they wouldnβt meet in court was a nice touch, but again, we missed the mark with Mandy.
Still overall enjoyed the book, but wanted a little more.

Me and a Student has been reading together both books. I was so into it that I realize that I read it in a week. The suspense of her feelings, the doubts, the uncertain of what is next was absolutely crazy. I loved Eden and Josh story it always gives me hope when it comes to love and how a person is supposed to feel. I wished Kevin would have got what he desired because I feel like he did. When women stick together there is no stopping the power behind us. Love Conquerors all!!

Like with its predecessor, I felt like the ending of this book was rushed. I wouldβve liked to have seen Joshβs healing journey more fleshed out. It just felt rushed to see 2 whole books worth of trauma dealt with and overcame in 2-3 short chapters. Iβm also disappointed readers donβt find out the outcome of Kevinβs trial. The whole origin of Edenβs story is that she was assaulted, and we donβt even find out whether her abuser goes to jail or not. I get sheβs all healed in the end, so maybe it doesnβt matter to her anymore, but I care and wouldβve liked more finality.

Eden and Josh have a!ways had a special place in my heart. I found so much within their story and their love. This newest book gives a different version of closure. Closure with yourself, with your voice. This is a beautiful narrative to a discussion that is desperately needed for survivors around the world. I love that the focus is on Eden and Josh only, no power is given to a monster. No time wasted on a narrative that doesn’t need to be shared. These characters are so beautifully written and their ability to overcome and recognize what each of them needs is inspiring. I can’t praise this book enough, I had so many visions for what I hoped for Eden and this was all those dandelion wishes coming true.
