This is a wonderful anatomy book for basic anatomy. It doesn’t go into highly detailed anatomy but really covers all the basics very well. I wish you could, “look inside” because this is one of those books that needs that function. I love the colored illustrations and the questions it asks. I never took an anatomy course so this book is suited for me since it’s not the super in-depth anatomy books my husband has. The drawings are superb and I enjoy looking at all the different parts and learning about them. Everything is clearly numbered with lines pointing straight at the particular body part. The paper is thick and good quality. This book can easily be enjoyed by people like me as well as those who are going to take an anatomy course and want a good head start.

We have a family member who is presently an RN studying to be a PA. This book is an incredible review and practice tool. It contains summaries, diagrams and terminology related to body systems, locations and definitions. There are true and false questions, fill in the blanks, and exercises that ask you to use colored pencils to identify and color in the asked for region. Nothing deepens memory and strengthens neuron connections like practice and repetition, especially when presented in novel ways and angles. This book is a godsend in that regard. The format is large and the paper is very heavy stock, allowing for the inevitable abuse it is likely to suffer with repeated use, being tossed into backpacks and sitting in lab environments. If you are doing coursework related to anatomy and human physiology, I cannot recommend this resource highly enough, especially at this extremely reasonable price point. An outstanding resource and value.

This is a very thorough and detailed, yet easy to use text book for anatomy. The information is straight forward, but very detailed and complete. Everything is included you could need for basic anatomy, and the pages are in order of the systems of the biological body such as circulatory, reproductive, and respiratory systems. The pictures are in color and very clear, and the information is very understandable. The tests are great as well for seeing if you know what you need to. The cost is reasonable, and if you are studying anatomy this book would be very useful if not essential.

I bought this book during A&P2. I always find it helpful to quiz my self before a test. That way I can see what I still need to work on. This book was very helpful. There are so many questions and some great pictures. This would have helped me so much when I was learning the bones!

User friendly, good for extra practice and studying. This is a big hunk of a book that covers all major systems. I love that the book is 4-color throughout, so it’s very engaging to use. Is it better than online interactive options? No but it doesn’t require WiFi. Yes, it’s hefty and takes up a lot of space in a bag, but there’s something about writing and labeling by hand that makes it more memorable than clicking on a computer.
