Freeze was always an interesting one, and exploring his relationships (Nora, Batman, and Robin (Richard) was even more interesting here! Really digging this series.

My weak spot for these characters likely shapes my review. It’s not a groundbreaking work but it IS a great angle on Freeze most don’t take. The art is clean and well done. Special shout out for the coloring work. Worth a read for any Batman fan.
Phillip Sherotov –
Love these self-contained stories that allow readers to take a deep dive into the world of a character and that allow creators to do an even deeper dive into some of the main characters and their relationships!
FabO –
I absolutely love this series and the Mr freeze book has lived up to the standard this story has been a beautiful look into if one of Batman’s rouges is capable of change it has a Christmas season setting and what thought was an ending so good I smiled
While I still think the riddler story is the best one this was a close second

Even from the beginning of his crusade, the Batman believes one villain might be redeemed. Giving Victor Fries the chance to save his wife, Nora, Batman and Robin learn that every man is nuanced.
The blue tinged artwork adds a coolness to the story. The art flows nicely and there are some lovely uses of shadows to add to the dynamic.
SLIMJIM –
I never write reviews for anything but this story was beautiful. It was fun, immersive and exciting. Seeing Batman and Robin working together. Seeing Grayson disagreeing with Bruce and his intelligence. I loved every moment. And the ending was so good. Best one so far

This is the final volume in the “Batman: One Bad Day” series that I read, and with it I completed this eight book set that focuses on different villains in Batman’s world. Here in this work the writer and artist explore Mr. Freeze.
I thought this was good but for some reason I did have a harder time recalling what the story was about after I read it, and there was about a week’s gap in time between when I read it and when I wrote this review. It was a good story about the motivation of Mr. Freeze, whether his desire to save his wife’s life is really about his love for his wife and his wife’s best interests or it was selfish and is for himself. The story reveals its more about him and that before his wife got sick, he wasn’t necessarily a good husband or was very considerate of her and her needs. Yet this story also took a twists with how it ended with Batman and Robin trying to stop and help Mr. Freeze. Great story, I did think about some of the 90s Batman animated series when I read this story.

I have always enjoyed Victor Friez as a character. His bad day was at the start of his criminal career, and he lost everything. I love him on the animated Series. He is a tragic figure who makes me feel pity instead of fear. Good story and good artwork.

It’s a great story love the quality . The animation style isn’t one of my favorites but I didn’t mind it as the story was great . Plus it being a hard cover made it so much better
