loved the graphic novel. I was a bit skeptical because at first the images werent looking so good. But while reading it the graphics felt more and more natural and acurate. Although I dont like the design for Fitz.
Overall worth buying even for a german reader like me. Plus the shipping was relativly fast for a product sent from the US.

If your kid is into the keeper of the list city series – itโs a no brainer – they will absolutely love it. Recommend that you kid reads the whole series first of the chapter book and then read this one as it is a graphic novel based on the events of the series .

My sons love this series and we’re excited to find a graphic novel version. They said it was well find, better (and thicker) than they expected.
FallingStars –
This was such a great book. I was so cool to see all the characters in color and the story brought to life by the artist. I’ve been reading the series for years, and love this so much.
Mary Dunsford –
We love the Sophie books and have devoured them all, with me and my husband reading them to my 9/10 year old as pre-bed family time. When I saw earlier in the year this was coming out, I preordered, and finally, on Friday it was delivered. My son has already finished it, absolutely loving it! We are waiting with bated breath for the final book of Keeper of the Lost Cities, so this was a wonderful thing to have in the meantime. He says itโs really good!

9yr old daughter loved this. Was super sad it was only part 1 of the first book but still thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love keeper of the lost cities, and this is not an exception. Keep in mind this is only HALF of the first book.

Like many readers, I am anxiously awaiting the release of the latest KOTLC book. As an avid fan, I purchased the graphic novel to help lessen the wait.
I did not realize that the graphic novel only covered the first half of the Keeper of the Lost Cities book until I received it. I was let down to learn this. Because of the book being split up, I also think the ending is a bit disappointing as it seems to end a little abruptly.
I enjoyed the graphics and felt the illustrator did a good job bringing the magic of the lost cities to light. However, I did feel that Fitz was frumpy looking and did not seem to be as cute as he is made out to be. I am glad that I had read the series first so that I could have my own imaginings of how things look versus the graphic novel (I didnโt imagine the leapmaster to look like a giant disco ball).
I was planning on introducing my children to the series with this graphic novel, however I think I will just wait a couple of years and have them read the regular novels instead.
If you are a Keeper of the Lost Cities fan already, you will likely enjoy the book but it surely doesnโt add anything to the story.

Daughter loved this! She has read the rest of the series but was so excited about this comic book version! Hoping they make some more!
Michelle moffett –
I enjoyed the scenes to actually be drawn out, I loved every minute of reading. One of the panel’s colors were faded but other than that perfect

I ordered this as a graphic novel introduction to the keeper of the lost city series for my middle school classroom. I shouldโve ordered 50 more copies because this book is one of the most highly requested in my classroom. Students have been borrowing it putting it back sharing it talking about it and rotating it throughout various classrooms in the middle school. Highly recommend! Your middle schooler will love this.
