Going to see a therapist can be scary when you are already struggling. Katie broke it down into easy to understand steps of how to find someone, how to interview them, and what makes a good therapist. So much information and encouragement packed into these pages.

    Kati is the best. I found her on YouTube and literally had no other choice than buying this book. It’s amazing how comfortable it is to read all the things she has to say about mental health and therapy related things. I recommend her book for everyone. People who are starting to notice something in themselves or others and thinking about getting help; people who are already in therapy; or even people who are just interested in these things in general. It is a good fit for everyone I guess. Extremely thankful for this book.

    I personally haven’t read the book as I ordered it for a friend however, the few pages that I did skim through seemed to be informative and well thought out. It was slightly unfortunate that the book arrived with a couple marks on it although they luckily came out with the help of a rubber.

    I listen to this book twice on audible. Before that I was able to go through the book. This book is fantastic. I may call it a guide. This book is great for someone who is struggling about rather they can benefit for therapy. I told another friend about this book. And right away. She felt comfortable in making the decision to seek out help. There is nothing I can say negative about this book. It breaks things down and make it simple understandable and readable. It give you definitions explaining the different types of therapy. What I really like. Is the chapter. How do you start a conversation with your therapist and your needs. Pointers when you know you have a good therapist. Depending on your needs. This book is as close as you can get to helping find the right fit for you. Kati. You were right on when you published this book. I would recommend this book to everyone who is struggling. This is a book that can be recommended. This is a book that would benefit every library bookstore so that those who need it can have access to an excellent book that will help you find your way.

    I loved this book! It was an easy read and flew by very fast even though there was so much information packed into it! It was so informative about mental health and defining different things regarding different acronyms, mental health vs. mental illness, and provides many tools to improve yourself! The back of the book has definitions and a summary of steps mentioned in the chapters so you can go back easily to check if you are seeing a good/bad therapist, what to say when setting up an appointment with a therapist, etc. I recommend everyone to read this to get a better understanding and break the stigma regarding mental health.

    I’m a clinical psychology student. I’m only in my first year and this book explains so many things!! I love how detailed it is and the way it gives examples and ways to work things out. I’m not fluent in English and it’s still very easy to understand. Definitely, recommend this book to people who are going through some mental health problems or future psychology or counseling students. I hope to see more books about different themes soon.

    I have loved reading this book for many reasons. It is very easy to read and the topics discussed are valuable to helping you flourish in any garden you have been planted in. This book Kati has written to help see mental health as less of a stigma and more of a true condition will help save others, because they will be understood and validated as a person. Her heart is very much for those around her struggling with any emotional or psychological battle. Thank you for giving a voice to a silent world.

    We need a lot more efforts like this one. Kati does a fantastic job in presenting an introduction to the world of therapy and mental health. Anyone who ever has had thoughts of going for therapy, but was afraid of it should definitely read this book. As a student who is studying to become a therapist (and someone who benefited from therapy), I found the book inspiring, as would anyone who could benefit from therapy (which is everyone) and wants to become a therapist. Ignore the stigma our society puts on mental health and prioritize it as you would physical health! If you like the book (which you will), check out Kati’s great videos on YouTube!
