The FP-30X is a great digital piano. All the musical people in my family love it. I’m giving 4 stars because the accessories that come with this package are not that great. The stand is garbage — it is super wobbly, pretty much unusable. My kids take piano lessons with a teacher on zoom, and when they press keys with moderate force it is extremely wobbly and distracting. We need to replace it with something more sturdy. The headphones are okay. The pedal is also okay, but unnecessary since the FP-30X comes with a pedal. Price-wise, it all works out because the accessories end up being free compared to the cost of the FP-30X from other sellers, but I kind of wish that we didn’t have this extra junk that will probably just end up in a landfill.

I have been playing piano for over 17 years now, and have played in a band and at the university level. This keyboard is everything that I expected it to be in terms of sound quality and key action. Amazing responsiveness if the keys, and very good key feel as compared to a real piano. I have been able to learn a kapustin etude on this piano without feeling limited by the touch and key action. I am not the biggest fan, however, of the piano stand, as it can wobble around when playing heavily into the keys or playing rapid passages. Regardless, it is at least easy to adjust. One other thing is that you will be heavily limited in terms of preset sounds. You get a piano sound, electric keyboard, some strings, and maybe a layered sound option, but that’s it. You can adjust the key action, the brightness, and the reverb for each of those presets.
Assembly was easy, except for the bench, which took me some time to figure out how to properly insert the pegs.
The appearance of the keyboard is nice and chic. I can’t say this was one of my biggest concerns when purchasing, however.
The piano allows for MIDI capabilities.
All in all, for the price, this is just about the highest quality keyboard you can buy. I say that this piano is suitable for professionals to practice on. For those looking for a dynamic range in sound presets, this keyboard is not it. For those looking for a practice workhorse with a realistic key feel and great sound, this is it.

This is an outstanding piano and a great value. Playability, fit and finish, all top notch. Setting this up was super easy. Everything worked as expected. Navigating through all the sound options is a bit of a pain unless you’re using the app. Using the app makes exploring all the internal settings painless. Regrets? None other than now I want the 90x 😁. Can’t say enough good things about this piano
Ok now let’s talk about the bundled items. First off they’re sort of free so it’s really hard to complain. The headphones are adequate. The foot pedal works and is an upgrade to the OEM pedal. Since you get both you can decide for yourself. The seat has a weight rating that’s good for children and young adults. I’m 6-2 and a bit over 200 pounds so I had to get something a bit more sturdy. The Piano stand was good enough for a while but it just didn’t seem sturdy enough to me so I replaced it with a “Z” type stand. Huge improvement. But like I said… I could have paid the same price and bought the piano alone or for the same price got the included accessories. Get the package. Don’t pass up the free stuff. If you put the X stand on a hard floor maybe it will be sturdy enough for you. If you’re an average sided person maybe you’ll like the bench. Worst case scenario is you replace them and donate the others to some charity. But this review isn’t about free accessories. The piano is just awesome. As I mentioned, the only downside is that I’m now wishing I spent the extra $1200 and got the 90x. Do I need the 90x? Nope, this piano will serve me fine for years to come. But I can’t help thinking if this piano is so awesome, how much more amazing is the 90x? 😂

I am taking the piano class at our local college, that is why I bought this piano. The quality of the sound (Grand Piano) is amazing. The keys feel like real piano. The good thing is that you can easily adjust the action (key touch). The default setting for the Key Action is Medium. You can press a couple of buttons and adjust it to Light, Super Light, Heavy, Super Heavy. There are many different sounds and functions to explore, but I just use “Grand Piano”. I am addicted to this piano, and I play it all the time. That is why my teacher is happy with my performance in the class. I had bought some cheaper keyboards before, but now I don’t even touch them after I tried this one. You can put the headphones on; this way you will not bother anybody when practicing. The stand for the piano is bad. It’s wabbly, no matter what you try to do. So I bought the new stand K&M Konig & Meyer 18820.019.55 Omega Pro Keyboard Table-Style Stand. It costs $300, made in Germany and it’s the best! This stand is beautiful and solid, just like a tank. It is not wabbly at all. This piano is perfect both for the beginner and for the advanced player. It is portable. You can easily transfer it to any room. Keep in mind: for that kind of high quality the price is VERY reasonable.
