This is the second copy I bought of this game. The first was to re-experience the late 90s and early 00s. This copy was to share that nostalgic feeling with my older brother.
Whenever I’m hungry for the good old days, I pop some pizza rolls in the microwave and fire up this game. It’s everything I remember and so much more than I need it to be. The remastered graphics are outstanding, giving the game an update it so well deserved.

The create-a-skater is a nice touch.
Awesome addition.
However, create-park features were very limited. The original games had lot more to offer. Also, game was less straight forward.

My husband played this as a kid and we still have the originals for the PS1/2. He loves the updates made to the game, the levels have a little more you have to find and do and the addition of the new skaters made it really fun for him.

Pretty much like polishing a skateboard 🛹 and seeing as Pro Skater 5 screwed up the franchise the 1,2 punch of this game will be seen as the best with it’s Improved Graphics and textures, it may unnerve the nostalgia factor in some ways but it still very much has to be respected! Hopefully Tony Hawk can get his franchise back in motion!

Great game. I used to play it as a kid on the PS1 now my nephew is playing it on his PS4! He loves the game and enjoys playing it! It came packaged greatly and he is so happy with his gift.

I had the demo’s of thps1 & 2 back on Ps1 but never owned the games, more of a remake than a remaster this game is incredibly good and introduces the revert ability and spine transfer from thps 3/4, the soundtrack for the most part is kept intact from the original and adds new artists in as well, controls very responsive and plays faster than the original, blends arcade and realism from the skaters movements, hopefully we might get a brand new thps games for future and next generation consoles, lastly thps series faithfully respects skate culture past and present.5/5 many years of entertainment from this for sure. (what happened to matt hoffman’s pro bmx)?

Jag spelade originalet av THPS främst 2:an i början på 00-talet, men även dom andra delarna. När THPS HD kom spelade jag även det och även om de klassiska banorna i uppdaterad grafik var fräscht så var det inte mer än ok och inget som ens barn kunnat förstå vad grejen med THPS är.
Men den här uppgraderingen är extra allt. Inte nog med att grafiken är ordentligt upphottad till 4k, så är i stort sett allt återskapat på ett nytt men troget klassiskt vis. Sountracket som var en stor del av spelen är nu en blandning av de klassiska låtarna och nya. Likaså är de klassiska gänget åkare tillbaka liksom nya unga skejtproffs. Rörelserna är mycket mer naturliga. Det är en nostalgitripp inte vara till hur det var att spela då utan hur det mäter sig med samtida spel. Det är verkligen ett spel som min generation kan plocka fram och imponera på den yngre generationen med, åtminstone tills dom blir bättre på det…
