Been playing this since I got it (a couple hours) like my 8 yr old self getting Mario for the first time. Very nostalgic. It’s a little small but great for portable play. Fits in my pocket. Also it’s rechargeable with a c-cord, so bonus on the battery. (Haven’t had it long enough to know full life but I’ve had some good game play so far, and the battery is still good. Photo is compared to IPhone 11. I just love it! True to the original game despite me being rusty. I will say considering the cost of games, digital or otherwise this is definitely a fair to good even great price, since it was hard to find this game. I did sit a few months on deciding to purchase this or not because of size, want, etc, ultimately I decided on the purchase based on some of the reviewer’s videos. I now have the Zelda one on order. I’m very satisfied with it. Value is all the way there, only thing to be mindful of is your hand size. I do have smaller hands but I also have fat thumbs 😐. So I included a iPhone photo to help.

It holds the charge for a long time and the vintage Mario game kept our kids ages 4-15 occupied playing. Cool choice even us parents took a turn. So fun to feel the old school Mario again. Penso che per il prezzo che costa non gli sarebbe di certo venuta l’ernia se avessero aggiunto questa piccola funzioncina. Poi, visto che bisogna rimembrare, perché non aggiungere una parpelletta posteriore capace di mantenere il dispositivo in posizione orizzontale come ai suoi tempi? Per il resto l’oggetto fa ciò per cui è stato concepito: rievoca il passato, sollazza le nostre menti affinché la nostalgia prenda il sopravvento… sborsiamo più di 40 euro per un apparecchietto di plastichetta “firpillica” capace di muovere quattro pixel baffuti e rognosi su di uno schermo che, in altre circostanze, avremmo definito ridicolo. E tutto per cosa? Forse per rievocare, anche solo con l’immaginazione, quei tempi passati, quegli eventi sfumati, quell’attimo sfuggente che, come la più scivolosa tra le saponette, ci è semplicemente sgusciato via di mano colpendoci in fronte… facendoci ricordare che il tempo ci elude, c’inganna, priva e dona contemporaneamente. Vola, vortica, suffraga la sua esistenza e svanisce in un grande e fugace evento.
Il tempo è relativo… la nostalgia no.
