This is an amazing FPS game and great for you to play with your friends too! The graphics are fabulous and the gameplay is great. The only setback is that you cant play split screen but that’s not a major problem :)!!!

This game is personally the best FPS game that i have ever played. The quick yet steady paced action of your regular FPS is all here, along with many different playing experiences made possible by the array of different blasters at your disposal. The customisable secondary weapon loadouts make this even more interesting: you can be a long-range sniper, a close quarters shock-blaster, or anything in between. And the best part is that each of these playing types all work beautifully in the right environment.
However what makes this game my favorite is the artwork on the cover: the unmistakable Star Wars polish presents this game beautifully and makes it even more fun to play. Most of your favorite places in the Star Wars universe are available to visit during your vicious battle against the other team, and all of them have their own aesthetically pleasing themes that make you feel as though you’re there.
There are plenty of game types so you never get bored, from a gigantic 40 player warzone to a close and personal 12 player capture-the-flag variant, and even a dog fight in the skies pitting the X-wings against the imperial Tie-Fighters.
If i had a complaint i would say that the game is mostly online-oriented, so if you have bad internet connection you’re out of luck because there isn’t a lot to show for the local singleplayer games.

At first I wasn’t sure what to think about this game, it was fun but not what I expected. but once I started unlocking weapons and learning the maps a little better this game is pretty awesome! Personally I would have loved a campaign mode because they could have done soooo much with it. The details in this game are amazing. Don’t listen to all the people giving this bad reviews saying the game sucks because it doesn’t, I played A LOT of call of duty, Halo, and destiny before this game and tried comparing this to those games at first (that was dumb) this is nothing like those games. The shooting seems simpler(not really a bad or good thing) , and you don’t jump like you do in those games unless you have a jet pack. You need to play this game more than just 2 hours or so to really be able to give it a legit review. I have put about 38 hours into it so far and I’m still learning new things that help me out. I have had the game kick me out of a match completely to the main menu twice but I’m not going to mark that down because I cant prove its the game or my connection to the internet even though I have great connection. With any new big game you kind of have to expect to find a few flaws but they will be fixed. As far as the installation of the game goes it doesn’t take a super long time and they made a game mode specifically for you to play while it installs. You will play as Darth Vader and get to go around attacking rebels until the installation finishes. (in my opinion that was a genius idea to add that) If you have any questions about the game or ever want to hit me up on Xbox live comment and Ill reply as soon as I have a chance.
Thank you.

By far my fav XBOX One game. Jump into the battle and fight for the Empire or Rebels. Game focuses mostly on multiplayer, but there are some single player “training” missions that simply mock the multiplayer games, only you’re alone against the AI. Recommend purchasing the seasons pass for this, as there are a ton of maps and content that you can’t take advantage of unless you do, or unless you buy all the expansion packs individually.

Ignore the 1 and 2 star reviews. These gamers all seem to either want a game (Battlefield-based) custom tailored for their own enjoyment or they want an older version of Battlefront but updated. I’ve played all previous version of Battlefront and they were nothing to brag about. This is the logical extension of those games and it does a great job staying true to the original trilogy without trying to introduce new elements or work in the 2nd trilogy. I’ve put in about 50+ hours so far and have not got bored of any aspect yet. The spaceship dogfights alone are worth the price of this game. I played about 20+ hours in that mode to build up experience and earn cash to buy weapons and skills. Then I jump into walker assault mode because there is so much to do. You can focus on the ground campaign, you can jump into ground vehicles, you can jump into spaceships for the air campaign or you can just run around killing every enemy. The walker assault is the best because it ties the strategies and warfare that were alluded to but never really featured in the original trilogy.
This game is masterful because it is the culmination of what the original trilogy promised to this 42 year old when he first saw the movies in theaters back when he was 4, 7 and then 9 years old. I walked out of those theaters wishing I could join the fight and live in the Star Wars world. I’ve played virtually every Star Wars game over the decades and this one is by far the best Star Wars experience I’ve ever had. It’s difficult to compare but I would even go so far as to say it’s better than the original trilogy of movies. It engages me more, it’s obviously more interactive and it even let’s me jump from the empire to the rebels and back again.
I would take a fresh game experience like this any day over some skinned remake of a best selling title that everyone is familiar with. I suspect most gamers complaining are just bitter because they’re not getting there hi kill rate they’re used to from those other cookie-cutter games they just want re-skinned. I’d rather have EA try something new and even fail before they just re-skin an olde title that many like. Games are not just about new updated looks. They are an art form that are about originality and surprise and cooperation with others in multiplayer.
I haven’t tried any co-op yet and have only played the single player training missions for a few minutes just to try them out. I’m assuming the single player game isn’t as good as the multiplayer experience but then again, I haven’t played a single player game that beat the multiplayer experience in several years. It’s where games are heading because it’s where everyone is heading. My only wish is that some of the strategy and mechanics of this game can be built upon and included in massively multiplayer online Start Wars games in the future so that we can have battles of 1000 vs. 1000 players at once all in this universe. Someday when the technology catches up to the imagination, we will have something like that.

Lack of single-player campaigns notwithstanding, this is a great game. I do about 90% single-player, 10% multi-player and it’s enjoyable. Not worth $75 but at $40 or less, a good buy.
