    同一の日本流通版と比較して安いので、こちらを購入しました。英語の説明書が心配でしたが、向きを反対に取付けると問題のある部品の所には分かりやすく「note」=注意の目立つ表示が入った写真がありますので、説明書の本文を読まなくても組み立てができます。

    We purchased this toy from Amazon for my son during Christmas. A few days after Christmas, we noticed the shaft that holds one of the wheels in place was broken. I contacted the company, Snap Circuit, to get a replacement part. A few days later, I received an e-mail from the company stating that they would send a replacement. When the package arrived, I was AMAZED!!! For starters they sent the part free of charge (we all know that’s rare with most company’s), and lastly, they didn’t just send the broken part, they sent the whole bottom of the Rover!! They went above and beyond to prove they stand behind their product. My son was so excited. It’s his favorite Christmas gift and he loves that he can build his own remote control rover. 🙂

    If you have a child who loves to learn how things work, you will love this product and the company that makes it 🙂 My son loves how he can put it together and build the Rover with lights, and a horn, and many other features. We have the Rover and two different snap circuit jr sets and we love them!!!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND any thing from Snap Circuit!!

    If you have a curious child that is able to follow instruction like in Lego then this is great to help kids learn about circuitry, physics and electronics. My child turned 6 recently and made two of the projects with relative ease. Requires supervision which is easy to give because it is fun for adults too!

    Bought this on a deal before Christmas for my 9 yr old son. He loves Stem type projects/electronics and owns a couple of Snap Circuit sets. The instructions tell you exactly how to set it up, and within minutes he was enjoying driving it around the kitchen and living room. That being said, it does leave something to be desired. It says there are 23 Stem projects, which is true, but only a few have to do with the Rover itself, and the rest are just generic projects that are mostly covered in other Snap Circuit sets. The whole thing pretty basic and also moves very slow. Maybe the add-on set would make it cooler, but for the price I would expect it to have more. My son still likes it a lot, but I was hoping for more (we could have bought any random remote control car and he would have been at least equally happy).

    Our six year old son has been bugging us for a while to get him a remote controlled vehicle. Having previously bought the Snap Circuit Jr. set and been thrilled with it, my wife and I decided to purchase this as his gift for Christmas. My thought was “if you want a remote controlled vehicle, you’re going to build it yourself, kiddo.” His aunt purchased the UC-90 upgrade kit as her Christmas gift for him, so it worked out great as far as money spent, as the Deluxe Rover close to $100. The kit is amazing. You have to read the inserts in the project manual for information regarding wiring as some of the wires are about a 1/2″ too short it seems. Now, after a week of terrorizing the dog with this thing (the son, not me), the unit quit working. Batteries were good, so that left one of the over 100 parts to troubleshoot. The project manual gives you specific projects to build as a diagnostic tool to track down a faulty part. This is an important and well-thought out component of the instructions. I did the tests, and found out the Deluxe Receiver was not longer working. So, I called the company, and talked to an actual person for a brief second and was then transferred to the voice mail of Parts Department where I had to leave a message with my name, address, and the part I needed. So I left the message, thinking “eh, I’ll have to explain that I tracked everything down, that my kid didn’t wire it wrong, etc.”. Nope. I got a call a couple days later saying that the part was on its way. A week and two days after I called, I had the part, and we’re back to terrorizing the dog and learning about resistors and capacitors.

    The rover itself is actually pretty cool. Doesn’t drive too fast. A bit loud. Easy to drive. In my opinion, a nice balance of science project and recreational vehicle.

    Can’t say enough about my positive experience with this product and the company. Well done!

    This is a really neat toy, kind of like putting together Legos but with a remote control and flashing lights. My 8 yr old is able to follow the instruction manual by himself but my 6 yr old needed a LITTLE guidance….not a lot, though. It is a really cool idea for a toy.
    Also, the customer service was superb. The first one we got had a defective remote, which smelled kind of like something was burning when it was turned on. I was all set to light into someone’s posterior because my 8 yr old was so crushed and asked me WHY Santa would bring him a broken toy….but the return/replacement process was SO easy and convenient! All I had to do was print off a return label from Amazon and hand it to the mail lady. The new one arrived 2 or 3 days after Xmas because Amazon immediately sent out a replacement one before they even received ours back! That was a wonderful return experience.

    I have bought snap circuits products before so my expectations were high with this product and I was not disappointed.
    As usual the kit is solidly built with an excellent instruction manual that not only has very entertaining projects to build but also projects that will effectively demonstrate the principles of electronics.
    The instructions are so easy to understand that my seven year old daughter can build a complicated circuit with only a few errors.
    The only con with this unit so far is – as other individuals have commented, the unit is very noisy but it is not unbearable.
    If your child has an aptitude for electronics do not hesitate to purchase!

    This kit is amazingly good, especially for the price. Educational, easy to assemble, a very good rover once assembled. My grandson (age 9) really liked it. We had a great afternoon visit putting it together. As an electrical engineer and computer scientist, I highly recommend these snap circuits.
