I have a 2023 Royal Enfield Meteor 350. It has about 1400 miles on it, and I love the bike – with one exception: the almost constant squeaking from the front and rear wheels whenever I was wheeling it into or out of the garage, parking spots, etc. In addition, it would also squeal slightly under braking, like the sound they are supposed to make when the brakes are ready to be changed. Only the bike is brand new, so…
After reading a number of posts on a forum I frequent, someone posted that they had the same exact issue, and replacing both the front and rear stock pads with these EBC ones cured it for them. I thought it was too good to be true, but figured it was worth a shot. And I’m SO glad I tried it! They are almost comically easy to install on a Meteor, took literally 5 minutes for each set. You don’t even have to pull the caliper. I’ve probably put almost 100 miles since changing them over, and SILENCE. Yes! I think the braking might be slightly better too, but not sure, as I thought it was pretty good before.
I didn’t like the thought of changing new parts that shouldn’t need changing, and spending the money on them. But for the pure joy and peace of mind while riding, it was WELL worth it. Highly recommend for other RE owners.

Working as claimed. The moment I had driven my new bike a year ago from showroom, I realised that this bike with this weight needed some serious stopping power than usual. So I searched a lot and came to EBC pads. The price was more than 3500 at that time and it was in global store. So I waited and around 5 months before, it dropped to 2899! But still it is 2899. After I bought it, I felt cheated. Brake bite is just like my regular old pads and nothing more to impress! But I knew that it was a genuine pad from EBC, and something must wrong with my bike literally. So I bled the brake line, and reduced the play of rear brake lever. The result was impressive, it worked!!
I think this pads suit for many bikes! And things to remember before buying that, use it with a ABS bike. Otherwise it will lock the wheel almost all the hard braking situations. Also it is expensive. This is costlier than 2 sets of Brembo pads for a Maruti.
This pads will eat the rotor, and it is obvious. Not so soon but gradually! Don’t worry, it supposed to be happen at 60-65k in ODO to change the rotor!! It worth every penny guys. Go for it. Either buy it from Amazon if the price is 2899, or buy it from “Moto Usher.com”. In that site, search for Duke or Himalayan. And double check the ‘model’ before buying!
EBC FA181HH is for the front. I am going to buy that soon after I got my salary!! ๐
