For anyone who may see this and is looking for a can am outlander fuel pump this one no longer works the same as the old ones. They’ve changed the pump so it no longer uses a fuel sock. It will not suck off the bottom of the tank like the original. The pictures have not been updated to match the part. I returned the pump without any problems. Both Amazon and the seller were good. Just the pump itself no longer worked like it should. Pump in the plastic is what I received. Was purchased for a 2007 can am outlander.

used to replace the stock fuel pump on my 09rzr 800s after it started giving me a weak fuel pressure. installed easily and was about 20% the cost of a stock pump.

Installed this in a 2013 Can Am Commander XT1000 after I found out Can Am wanted $400 for a fuel pump that didn’t last 3000 miles. I figure I can put 7 of these in and still come out money ahead. It fit perfect and is quieter than the old pump. I did have to go with the 7.5 amp fuse also but that was no biggie. It’s cheap enough and easy enough to change to make carrying a spare a no brainer-especially when you’re 50 miles from home out in the desert.

Its a great replacement pump for my 2013 Can-am Gade 800cc
Dealer wanted $560Cdn for a replacement sending unit
you will have to carefully pull apart your sending unit remove the pump and replace.
About a 2 hours DIY time lol

I installed this pump in 2011 xt 1000 commander side by side with 6600.00 miles on it. I found the old pump couldn’t maintain 51 psi at full throttle, it drop into the forty psi. The only problem with this pump it runs on 6.5 amps and the stock one needed only 5 amp , so all I did was change the fuse to a 7.5 amp and my utv been running excellent for the last four trips I took putting on about 160 miles on it.
I used the old fuel filter [strainer] but I clean it with carb cleaner and air from my compressor and reinstalled it with the new clip that came with the new pump . PS This pump is made in the usa and not china.

Didn’t last a full yr. even though it’s a life time warranty the hassle to changing it out all the time isn’t worth it and paying a mechanic, I upgraded mine to a dealership fuel pump from Nissan, got it for half off on the site I go on for a better deal, I won’t be wasting my time changing and going threw those cheap pumps.

Saved me $300. Replaced the pump in my CanAm Maverick Turbo. Factory pump was an assembly only and well over $300 just for the part. This pump was a perfect fit and easy to replace. I probably should order another as a spare.

Pump was a direct plug-in for my 09 RZR800s. I did have to reuse the old rubber bumper because the new one didn’t have slots cut in the right place.
