I dropped the whole tank and everything expecting to swap the pump this weekend and went to put the new one in and it won’t work. The pumps are very similar but not quite the same and that little difference is what matters. It makes it so the top part of the pump sits about a half inch to high. Which there is no wiggle room on the housing and has to be exactly like the old one. Do not buy if your doing a grand cherokee WJ.

Works great and fit my TU250x perfectly. But, the star washer in the picture is in another plastic bag. Don’t expect to see it in the same bag as the filter.
Yes, it’s included, the star washer, but it’s with one of the other filters. Also, it takes a bit of pressure to push the filter on, so make sure it’s down and pushed in before placing star washer to secure filter. Other than that, it solved my problem and it works great!

This was a simple plug and play rebuild of the fuel pump for my Honda Rubicon ATV – 2019. I just rebuilt the defective pump as a backup and installed on OEM complete pump in my Honda. If I had known how easy it was to rebuild the old pump I would not have used an OEM complete pump at a cost of about $160.
Lesson learned. This kit is complete with everything you need and even has a new ‘O’ ring to properly seal the pump housing/fuel tank joint. It took about 30 minutes to disassemble the old pump and replace the old pump motor with the new. Take plenty of pictures of the complete pump housing before you start disassembling it.

We used this to replace my son’s “suspect” fuel pump in his 1995 Ford Escort LX Wagon (1.9L). Although it is not as simple as buing a complete replacement, it isn’t “too” bad.
I am familiar with vehicle repair, so it was a matter of figuring out what works and what doesn’t with this kit. For our application the smaller filter with internal supports would not fit at all (hit the bottom of the tank), so we had to use the less robust long wide filter that still hits the botom, but has enough room to suck in the fuel.
We had to cut the rubber hose provided (short stout fuel line hose) and work it on. I tossed the contraption ford had on there as it appeared to do nothing except maybe stop any water hammer action that might happen in the system.
Finally, the wiring is straight forward, but I choose to solder and heat shrink to his original wiring. After we assembled it, I then had the thought while taking a shower, that I hope the heat shrink I used is fuel proof 🙂 .. I guess we’ll find out in a few months or years.
Overall, I think the quality is fine for a daily driver, and worked well for us. It has only been maybe a hundred miles, so it is too early to tell really.
