The filter seems well-made, and is supposed to be 99% efficient. I removed my old Pennzoil filter, using a combo 65-67mm “socket” type filter wrench (the kind that fit on your 3/8″ socket wrench) from Harbor Freight. It fit the Pennzoil filter perfectly, but wouldn’t quite grab the Bosch filter. The diameter must be slightly smaller. If you’re doing your own oil change with this filter, be sure to have an adjustable filter wrench that can grip it properly. I was surprised that I couldn’t find any indication of the filter size Bosch recommends for these.

I like the idea that I can change the oil in my car fairly frequently without it costing exorbitant money.
These filters are highly rated and are a lot less costly than anything else that fits the application and is available at the corner auto parts store.
Something to be said for “keeping it local”, but there is also something to be said for spending 60% less than what’s on the shelf and ordering on-line to stock up ahead of the next oil change.

These are nice filters and reasonably priced. Solid construction, and they fit my Honda Ridgeline as they should. I’m a fan of genuine, manufacturer-brand oil filters, but these Bosch filters are every bit as good, and cheaper and more convenient to buy. No issues here.
