It’s the first time to replace spark plugs by myself. After watching youtube videos, it was easy to install the new spark plugs in my 08′ Toyota Camry Hybrid, which had 125,000 miles on it. I tested starting the engine right away without problems after the install. Haven’t noticed any changes in MPG. took one star off because one of the spark plug tip looked not well aligned by visual inspection, and I didn’t know how significant this was so I went ahead with the installation. didn’t measure the gaps.

I bought these to replace the factory spark plugs on my 2005 Camry 2.4L I4. I’m at around 58K miles but the original plugs are about to hit 11 years old. For the price, I decided to just replace them. I wasn’t seeing any particular problems except for a slight vibration at idle w/ the AC on but I consider that completely normal. I didn’t want to leave the originals in for 15+ years and not be able to get them out, despite Toyota saying they are good for 100K miles.
Steps for the Toyota 2.4L:
– Remove plastic cover from top of engine (if equipped)
– Remove coil pack boots
– Remove old spark plugs (mine were NGK)
– Install new plugs
– Put coil pack boots back on
– Put plastic cover back on
This was my first time replacing spark plugs and it was very easy! As my car gets older I am learning how to do things on it, like brakes and whatever else. I changed my PCV + PCV hose along with my spark plugs and the car feels better. Gas mileage is the same, pretty crappy in the city but I drive “spiritedly” – idle is smooth, engine runs quietly.
I opted NOT to put anti-seize, I read online that there’s some kind of coating on the plugs already and that both Denso and NGK advise against anti-seize as well. It has to do with it changing the torque values. If these plugs last another ten years, I will probably get rid of the car before I ever have to change it again anyway.
Overall, very happy. I think the price is fair for iridium tipped plugs that will last 100K miles. My factory plugs still looked very good after 58K miles / 11 years so I have no doubt that these will last a while as well.

Perfect fit… had a misfire on 3 and 4. Realized the car never had the plugs changed and it has 240,000 miles on it… swapped the old plugs out and codes disappeared… pre gap was perfect

1991 Lexus LS400 – When it was time for me to buy spark plugs my Shadetree Mechanic advised me to buy iridium type spark plugs. I didn’t know what Iridium Spark Plugs were so I fired up the old computer and went to Amazon to investigate. Wow! These things sound great! I first found the Bosch Spark Plugs. They are “Double Iridium”! Two is better than one right? Also, they are named after that macho LA Police Detective on that show! How cool is that? I hope he’s getting residuals. So, I wanted to get those. My Shadetree Mechanic, who is wet blanket when it comes to getting cool car parts, said no, you don’t need Double Iridium Spark Plugs for your car. They are are a waste of your money. I said, but if single iridium spark plugs are supposed to last 100,000 miles or a 1,000 years, whichever comes first, then the double iridium tipped ones will last 2,000 years! You’re a man, isn’t more always better? My Shadetree Mechanic then gives me the look of, I’m going to charge you double for you insolence you crazy occidental if you keep talking this way. In order to win my argument I made a last ditch effort plea. I said, If I cheapen out my car will know and she will leave me! My Shadetree Mechanic then charged me twice for my back talk. Life goes on. I recommend this brand of spark plug for your 1st Generation Lexus

Gute Zündkerzen und ich werde die auch 2 mal kaufen
RC Mark –
I just installed these in my 2004 Toyota Sienna. The van now has over 200,000 miles and this is the third set of spark plugs since it was new. It has always had Denso Iridiums and they have performed flawlessly. Toyota recommends that these be replaced every 100k miles in this van, which is the only reason I replaced them this time or last. They never fouled or misfired or gave me any indication of problems; in fact, the plugs that were removed still looked perfectly good after 100k miles.

Nothing beats the genuine Denso products

Besser als Original (das sind die originale Zündkerzen, nur viel günstiger) und das freut mich.
