Installed on a latest gen Sequoia with new Stop Tech cryo slotted rotors. They grip fantastic, vehicle stops much sooner than factory pads. But…they produce a tad MOE dust. The biggest complaints, and they’re big…they are very rough on the rotors and squeal like a pig at slaughter. Had to replace the rear pads after just a few hundred miles. The fronts were quiet for a few thousand miles but just started squealing and will be replaced. Likely will go with Stop Tech pads, although I hope they ST have the same grip as the Hawks.

I installed these last week on my 2011 Tundra. The install was messy but very easy. All you need is a set of metric sockets, a jack, tire iron, and 2 c-clamps. You can find all the instructions to do this yourself online through a search. So far the braking is very smooth and quiet. We’ll see how they wear in the long run. I will post back if there are any issues.

These brake pads work very well. They seem to work better now they have seated over the last 3 weeks. I’m really happy with the even stopping power of these pads. So far I have not noticed any dust on the front wheels, but I am using these on a 2007 Toyota Tundra 4×4 and the wheels aren’t always the cleanest. But, for the most part they seem to be clean. I only installed them on the front and will also use them on the back when needed.

So far so good. Breaking performance is much better then stock. I purchased hawls for the front and rear of 2008 Toyota Tundra crewmax. Stock worn down at about 65,000 and rotors warped. These have been great for the few thousand miles I have driven in them

I purchased and installed these brake pads March 30, 2013, with new rotors. Performed the Hawk’s break in instructions exactly. After a few months of service, the brakes started squealing intermittently. Called Hawk and they recommended I sand down the pad and rotor and break in again – I did. After a few more months, the intermittent squeal started again. My wife was getting angry. I was frustrated. She told me I needed to drive the car to get full effect.

After a few more months and a more calls to Hawk, I took into the Toyota dealership. They informed me the pads overlapped the rotors by a millimeter or so. I once again tool the brakes apart and verified what the dealership told me. The pads indeed overlap the rotor.

I replaced the pads (even though they had less than 10,000 miles on them) with new pads (not Hawk). Visual inspection showed the new pads didn’t overlap. No issues, no squeak with the new pad.

I recommend Amazon and or Hawk review and correct the specifications on these pads.

My oem rotors lasted about 27k miles before they were warped/uneven and were giving me a bunch of feedback in the steering wheel when they heated up, and downright shook the truck when towing our 6klb trailer when they were hot.
I had been doing a bunch of research on what a good upgrade would be, and before you go into $2k+ for a BBK, Frozen Rotors (or any cryo treated rotors) and either Hawk Green or EBC Yellow would be the best combo.
I’m very happy with the combo. After properly bedding the pads, the setup has a much better bite over the factory setup.

Used for front pads on my 2008 Toyota Sequoia. I run nearly 35″ tires and these LTS pad work amazing! I can’t believe how much better they bite than any other pad I’ve used. I have one gripe for the fronts. They pad generate a lot of dust. This vehicle gets washed at least one a week and I have to spend about 10 to 15 mins each time detailing the wheels to get that brake dust off my black wheels. It sticks pretty hard to the wheel surface.
